Which one do you think will be completed and released first? Strongbad_email.exe Disc 6 or Homestarrunner.com Everything Else, Volume 4?

I think it will be SBEmails 6, personally. That's my opinion; what's yours?

Considering TBC have yet to make more big toons, shorts, and other features, I'm sure Disc Six will come first. Maybe in late June or July. And CPHP, if you happen to be HRFan85 in "H*R Fanstuff Wiki," you might wanna revise the introduction for Everything Else, Volume 4 a little bit so Strong Bad doesn't mention "Strong Bad Emails Disc Six." The intro seems sorta lengthy if you know what I mean.

And if you can come up with the FBI Warning and Introduction for that volume, how come there's not much to read in strongbad_email.exe Disc Six? Is there a little more thinking to do? All I notice is the list of sbemails released after #160 and the bonus section. I can also see that the FBI Warning for disc 6 might have a red background instead of a color-shifting one, like disc 5 having a bland, blue background.

Well, consider the fact that Everything Else Volume 1 had an intro. And also the new SBEmail DVD probably won't happen for a long time, if the release of Disc 5 is any indication.

Yeah, I guess there is a little more thinking to do. I deliberately decided that Disc 6's FBI warning's color would be a single color, instead of shifting through colors.

As for the FBI warning and intro for Disc 6, yes, I guess I can't really decide much to do, like I could with EE4. The only reason I had the FBI warning for EE4 have Strong Sad was because someone else here thought of it and I decided to use it. The intro took a little time to think about, as well. Can you help me with the FBI warning and intro for SBEmails Disc 6? The only thing I know of for certain is that the intro would involve the old printer being replaced by the new printer and the New Paper showing off the menu items and Strong Bad criticizes it, but that's all I can think of.

Again, can you help me with ideas for the FBI warning and intro to SBEmails Disc 6?

Let's see...

FBI Warning - since Homestar appeared on one through four and The Cheat appeared on five, I guess another character should be used, like Homsar.

{Homsar comes in upside-down from the upper right corner}

HOMSAR: AaaaaAaaaaAaaaa! {he and the whole screen change at different angles at each "Aaaaa," stopping at the message appearing upside-down, and Homsar appears rightside-up.} The rosy billboard forbids you to duplicate! {as he says "duplicate," his bowler had splits into two}

Intro - Perhaps we can start it off like this:

{In the field, Homestar walks up to a trash can with The Paper's broken printer inside it}

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Tum, dee-dum, dee-dubble-dee-dum... {notices the printer} Ooh, a crummy, old typewriter! {picks up the printer} I could sell this on Some Type of Online Auction! {walks away with printer} It's probably gonna be worth less than that breakfast burrito, though. Oh well, one's man's treasure is another man's trash.

{As Homestar walks off, the camera zooms out through the window of the computer room, where Strong Bad at his desk}

STRONG BAD: {looking up} You done yet, Bubs?

{Bubs jumps down from above}

BUBS: Oof! I am now! Your printer's loaded with tri-color diesel and blackberry juice!

STRONG BAD: Colored ink and black ink, right?

BUBS: Yep.

STRONG BAD: Good. Thanks, anyway.

BUBS: My pleasure! {walks off}

{New Paper comes down with the menu options}

STRONG BAD: I appreciate your timing, New Paper, but uh, your digits look like an ISBN or something.

{After some time has passed, New Paper falls down}

STRONG BAD: Uh oh. Lemme take care of this...

{while humming, Strong Bad walks up, picks up New Paper, and places some tape on top of it to let it stay in place}

STRONG BAD: That's better. {to audience} And you, quit hesitating and make your choice! {gets back on his stool}

Whew. How's that?

I just replaced the UPC with ISBN because ISBN is usually seen with the OCR A Extended font.

Well, either way, thanks again. I appreciate it.

Anyway, take a look at the article now: http://fanstuff.hrwiki.org/index.php/strongbad_email.exe_Disc_Six. Tell me what you think.

Looks pretty good! Especially the slight revision. Also liked the Bug-In-Mouth Disease and From Work references! And the Female Lappy 486 part was unexpected, but still satisfying. Seems the introduction is longer than the other five discs' intros, which must be a special thing considering it will contain #200. I don't know how many hours a DVD can carry, though.

And I apologize for the delay.

Do you mind makinig the Homsar and Cardgage scenes of fan club seperate angles instead of playing in a row? I fear playing them both will ruin some joke that may be involved with Strong Sad's "debate's over" line.

He thinks you never get out of the house because your hobbies differ from his. At least, that's what I gathered from his post.

Well, if your "hobby" is making an extremely obsessive article about a non-exsisting DVD in every single detail, then yeah.

But I guess that's what people do here... My favourite is the article explaining what a twix candy bar is because the toon had a reference to it. Classic.

Why does that not count as a hobby? Seems valid enough to me.

Yeah, me too.

But we're getting off topic here. We need to get back on topic, if that's okay with everyone.

I'm expecting a 2-year gap in between each Everything Else DVD.

There was no two-year gaps between the first and second DVDs. The first one came out in November 2005 and the second one in October 2006. And frankly, the third came out in November of the following year, just two days shy of two years after the first one.

The only two-year gap I can find is between SBEmails Discs Four (July 2005) and Five (June 2007).

I meant they should do a 2-year gap from now on. Volume 1 ended with 2005-era toons, and Volume 2 only went to January 2006. Volume 3 spans 2 years.

Oh, okay. Well, there has been a 2-year gap between SBEmail DVDs, as I probably said before, so...

Considering how much content has been put out on the website lately, I think it's going to be a tossup as to which will come first. They still have two more emails left to go before they can wrap up the complete sixth disc, but what of Everything Else 4 now?

I don't think it will come out soon since this year has a goose egg of Big Toons due to the immense material of SBCG4AP.

Goose egg? What does that mean?

Goose egg is a slang term that means "zero," so called because a zero is shaped like a goose egg. It's common in low-scoring baseball games for a commentator to remark that there are "goose eggs across the board."

Well, all the same, they can always just create a DVD without big toons again.

They have released a lot of shorts lately, though.
