Wouldn't it be cool if TBC released all 200 SBEmails on one Blu-Ray set (Prolly only 1 or 2 disks) in it's ultra Flash-like quality?
I dunno about you guys, but my DVD's aren't nearly as good quality as the websites.
I'd pay $30 for that.

I don't know if Homestar Runner would benefit from 1080p, but they definitely need to record some commentaries for the pre-2004 toons that currently have none.

The DVD's are a lot darker than the original cartoons, and don't look that great when streteched onto a 52-inch (especially the 3D intros). Maybe they could get the original flash-like quality if they put it on a Blu-Ray. And just two disks could hold all 200 emails and commentary for each one, plus bonus content.

I dunno, maybe I just live in a fantasy world :homsar:

I just thought of a fake BD-Live feature where characters send you stupid messages at the most inappropriate times. For example, you would be watching "Lookin at a Thing in a Bag", and when Homestar gets really sad at the end, a misspelled and desperate-sounding love letter from Coach Z to Marzipan appears onscreen, and maybe it should obscure Homestar's face as well.

But what if you don't have a Blu-Ray player. :( Like me.

Sounds like something that will put my Blu-Ray player to good use (I haven't used that thing since I watched The Dark Knight on Blu-Ray during Christmas).

Good idea, maybe TBC can add more interviews via BD-Live.

Or, worse yet, if your TV is CRT.

I don't use Blu-Ray and it might be difficult to do because I think making Blu-Ray disc are a bit costly.
