I finally finished up RAC:UYA a while back...Dr. Nefarious is one of the best video game characters I've ever come across.

I remember the final boss from RAC:GC being rather easy...and getting bolts in RAC being rather time-consuming.

I started playing the new Sam and Max series.

They're hilarious, and have great style, but suffered from a lot of the same flaws that killed adventure games oh so long ago.

Currently playing Guitar Hero III, but my plan for tomorrow is to run out and get Mario Galaxy wicked early. Then, I'll be able to play it most of the weekend.

Nefarious is probably the best villain in the entire series. Lawrence is pretty cool too.

And yeah, Experiment is a pretty easy boss. But only if you use good weapons.

Getting bolts in the first one takes way too long.

Still RAC series.

In RAC, I have to infiltrate the Robot Plant on Quartu. I already destroyed all of the Battlemechs but I don't have the Hologuise thing to infiltrate it.

So I need to go to the Gadgetron Plant on Kalebo III. All I've done there is grind the rails so I still need to get to the old guy, win the race, and then there's something else I think.

GC, still the Promenade.

Still SS2. I'm crazy screwed. I lost my wrench, I have next to no health, I have no bullets for my guns (I found a laser gun but I don't have the skill level to use it and I don't have the cyber modules to level up to the skill level) and I need to get past a turret. Sure I found the security system thing, but no matter how long I try hacking it I can't turn it off (I'm out of nanites now).

Still playing Civ2. The AI is hilariously dumb in this game. Unfortunately, it's not so hilarious when the same dumbness causes the AI to attack you for no reason. Or to keep sticking its units in your own territory despite your peace treaty.

Made it all the way back to Kyzil Plateau in RAC. I wanna save up and buy the rest of the weapons I don't have, plus nab some gold bolts and skill points.

Still haven't explored Promenade.

I finally finished a game of Civ II -- on Deity (hardest difficulty setting), no less. Built the space ship to Alpha Centauri and won. Totally not worth it, unfortunately. The AI put up very little resistance except when it panicked since it presumably saw I was close to finishing the Apollo Program wonder and all three remaning AI civs declared war on me. It took a while to fully restore order and I did lose a city that I never bothered to recover, but it was still pretty inconsequential at that point. The AI probably could have beaten me at that point if it were smart, but, of course, it has all the intelligence of a brick. So the only bit of excitement was more annoying than anything.

Could be worse, though. If it did beat me, it would have totally destroyed my day. I'm glad that didn't happen.

Finally explored the Promenade in GC. I think now I'm up at the Deep Space Disposal Battle and the Megacorp Games.

Wow, you really hate Mecha.

Currently playing D2X-XL(the unique version of Descent 2)

Okay, Casimir, are you just giving me a hard time all the time or you're just being sarcastic?

Why would this be an either/or question?

If you want a truly honest opinion, though, perhaps you should start posting about things other than Mecha. This forum carries a plethora of conversations. You don't need to just appeal to one very minute group of users.

Can it be a "group" if it's only one person?

While that's true I don't think every single one of his posts needs to be followed by "you hate mecha" either. But yeah, just talking about mecha and just about only mecha gets old. It'd be like me only talking about...golf or something or Ace talking only about....arson?

Still playin' UYA.

I'm playing through Sly 2: Band of Thieves again. I just started the 2nd Contessa level. I don't remember what it's called but it's the one where you have to save Carmelita.

That's my favorite one on the whole game. Really gloomy and well designed. The tanks make you think that a war is going on. Scaling the castle walls constantly was pretty cool too.

It's a lot better than the first Prague level, that's for sure. I also like the Paris level even though it's the first.
