Don't worry, I poured one hundred gallons of real butter on it back here.

Toastpaint, though. COLA, you serious about that offer? Because that's actually kinda tempting.

Don't be questioning our ways, rammy.
Besides, it was all on topic. He was coming over here to play.

So anybody know who the big shocking cameo is? Rockstar said that fans would be very pleased with a certain character. Is it Tommy?

Dunno.

I havent been playing any missions. Basically, I saved roman from the albanians the first time, then ignored it the second time (I was getting coffee), then went on a rampage.

I'll probably start over. With every grand theft auto game to date, I have ignored the missions, and used the weapons/vehicles cheats to play the game like an arcade mode, but this game is more deep than that. I feel like playing it all the way through.

Also, as a russian student: lol at everything the russians say and do in this game.

Edit: Just fired up the game again, and while walking out of my apartment, I noticed Claude's name written on the wall just inside the building, next to "blood".

Was claude really the GTA3 character's name, or was that just taken from GTA2?

Yes it was. It wasn't revealed until San Andreas, but that's his name.

Claude's name was actually found earlier than San Andreas, I think. Somebody was looking around in the game files and saw that there was a left-over "name a character" part with Claude set to default.

I thought Claude was a cool name. Better than Fido, anyways.

Claude Speed was pretty cool. A little corny, but still cool.

Today I booted up some more VCS and did some stunts in cars I found in alleys. After clearing the Malibu I stole a bike and went into the alley where you protect Lance and Diaz in Vice City. There I just did crappy stunts off of the stairs for a long time. Eventually my bike is near dead and as as soon as I hit the stairs, BAM, my bike catches fire. I'm flying on a flaming comet right into the building wall, it looked awesome.

Before that I went around and did Beach Rescue missions for some reason. I decided "what would happened if I ran a guy over" and ran over the nearest ped. My luck, it was a cop. So I bait the medic into leaving and just go on a beach rampage, racking up stars. Cop cars chase for a whole but they don't do anytihng. Some officers fire but I just plow them all over. Even the Miami Vice undercovers came and I ran them out. Eventually all that happened was a helicopter circling above. I played cat and mouse with it for a while and ran over drunk peds until I got six stars.

Six stars, I belt it over to the beach exit looking to Ocean Beach's main road. What i see is a tank in a frenzy, hitting a car and sending it flaming and flying. Other army trucks circle about. I pull out of the grass and onto the main road, dodging a tank. I dodge pass a truck coming in from another road. Focused on that, I don't even se the tank headed right for me. Boom, explosion, wasted. My body isn't even on the screen, must be lodged in the tank.

Overall anticlimactic and fun.

Hey Cola or anybody else who has it, do gangs still roam the streets like they did in San Andreas/Vice City? You know, meet up in circles and talk and just prowl the streets. Because the gangs this time around look interesting (according to Wikipedia there's at least 12 in the game) and I'd like to see some of them and stalk them for a while.

Eh?

What makes you say that? Plus I won't even be playing it probably since I'm not getting a 360, ever.

One of his reasons is probably because RARE is a shell of their former selves, though knowing Ace, I could be wrong.

You take that back! You're only mad because Banjo-Kazooie 3 is going to knock Mario off of his pedestal.

I wanna see another Conker video game.

I havent seen anything that I would call a "gang," but when I had to kill someone in the Russian district after I had been thrown out of there, alot of people who weren't police started shooting at me.

I love how accurately they portrayed NYC's russian district. I go there to get my russian DVDs sometimes, and it is a great place. It's way more crowded in real life though.

Maybe he shows up later on. In San Andreas I don't think he showed up until Las Venturas.

I'd find it humourous if you could find a channel with someone watching a TV. It'd be even more depressing.

Seriously though, I got the game a while back. It's pretty dang great so far despite the fact that it's my brother's and he never lets me on it anyway.

In VCS I was driving down the road near Stonewall J's (the weapons store) in Little Havana when I crashed into a store. I looked at the store sign and saw "Page 3 Books". I doubt a lot of Americans got that joke.

Good lord this guy is an idiot. I don't even think he played the game, judging by the fact that he called him a Russian and said it was rags to riches again.

Second, there is almost nothing to buy when you're poor, and absolutely nothing to buy when you're rich because the guns aren't unlockable at the gun shop until you've held the gun in your hands, which means you have to do the missions anyways, and by the time you've held most of the good guns, you're so rich you can buy them. So there is no point in money in this game
This makes no sense. If I've already held the good guns, what makes you think I still have them, or still have enough Ammo for them? Second, I spend alot of cash on Ammo and grenades and food most of all. Plus I like to get a new suit every once in a while...

Also, I'm on the next island now, and still no Fernando.

I think Lazlow is the only character returning, save for

Are Ricky Gervais and Katt Williams the only comedians in the game? I wish they got more people in it. Ah well. Gervais' shows are my favorite.
