Wait, you own a Mew, a Celebi, a Deoxys and a Darkrai?

Would you mind me asking how you obtained them all? I'm quite curious, as I thought there wasn't any way to get those.

I obtained them all in trades as living in Canada I get no events but the events the come from are as follows:

Toys R Us in the states gave out Mew in 2006.
Its original trainer is MYSTRY and it came at lvl 10 with the ID number 06930.

The Celebi was originally obtained at the Poke Park in Taiwan.
Its ID number is 60720 and also came at lvl 10.

My Darkrai was giving out in Japan in comemoration of the 10th pokemon movie.
It comes in a cherish ball at lvl 50 and says "Pokemon Movie 07" on it.

My Deoxys is a Japanese Aurora Ticket Deoxys which was caught in Hoenn. English Deoxys caught with the Aurora Ticket can only be caught in Kanto as Emerald was not out yet. Its lvl 30.

I cross referenced this event pokemon guide, http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/file/925601/48598
with what other people have up for trade on http://www.pokecommunity.com
to confirm there legit status.

Hm, I don't think there are any events in England, where I live, either.

What did you trade for them? (Am I asking too many questions?) :-|

Your not asking too many question. I traded Jirachi's to get them or shinies. Also, there actually have been several events in the UK and surrounding countries.

Dan goes to a really big Pokémon forum with a community trading legendaries and shinies. He has like a whole box of shinies. I have a couple event legendaries from trading with Dan to get the Pokedex entry and then GTSing for one to keep. I have: Toy R Us Mew, Japanese Coliseum Celebi, English Aurora Ticket Deoxys, and of course the English Coliseum Jirachi. What sucks is legit Darkrais come with a special ribbon that prevents them from bring put up on GTS.

Wait, they come with a ribbon? That means that they were distributed directly, instead of them being caught at Canalave. What's the point in making that miniquest if you're just going to directly distribute them?

Ones distrubited directly are often special. They come in Cherish balls, have the ribbon and even have moves that are not in there move pools. Take for example my Darkrai, it has Roar of Time and Spacial Rend, moves that it can not get if you where to catch one via mini quest.

Also, they often distribute no legendary pokemon such as Surfing and Flying Pikachu, B-Day Charmander and so on. Weirdest event would probably have to be the Cherish ball wishcash that has nothing special about it.

But first, i'm wondering what the heck makes a birthday charmander special: does some guy dressed as charmander break into your house and rape you or something?

That does seem very weird. I would be pretty annoyed if I managed to get to a Pokémon giveaway event and got a Whiscash. By the way, it's "Whiscash", not "Wishcash".

They come caught at level 40 in a cherish ball (a ball you can not get). Its moveset is Return/Hidden Power/Quick Attack/Howl, ID number 07207 and it has a classic ribbon attached to it. I also assume it will say something along the lines of "Met in a fateful encounter" as well as "Birthday Event" or something.

**Quick Attack and Howl can not be put on a charmander any other way**

So not much makes it special... we can only wish that some guy was raping us.

No idea, thats as far as my knowledge goes on that event poke.
What I find strange is that some guy on another forum collects only Birthday charmanders, he has over 50 of them....

Hm, you know what? Since I probably have every breedable Pokémon that exists, I'm willing to give out free eggs to anyone who asks. Just tell me what you want, and I'll chuck a couple Pokémon in daycare for a while, and give you the egg.

What kind of Pokemon aren't breedable? Are there any that can't?

Legendaries, babies and a few other genderless pokemon like Unknown can not breed.

Also, for some weird reason, Nidorina and Nidoqueen can't breed, even though Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Nidorino and Nidoking are all able to breed...

I don't understand it, and I don't think anyone does. IT BOGGLES THE MIND.
It's also stupid, considering that, there could potentially be someone who's new to this whole 'breeding' thing, and just happens to have a Nidorina and a Nidorino. I think that they'll be very confused when the obvious pairing doesn't work.

Also, Ramrod, I've added your friend code... what Pokémon egg do you want?

Sure thing. I've got the egg right here. I can trade it over now if you want.

I find it stupid that the only fire-types you'll ever see before the Elite Four are Chimchar and Ponyta.

Not really, I'm doing this for free. Send something if you want, but I'll be happy with a Bidoof or a Starly.

Thanks DumDeDum. Now to wait for it to hatch, and hope to find a Chansey with Lucky Egg.

If you go to the town with the daycare you can cycle up and down through it and the egg will hatch within 5-10 minutes.

Oh hey Rammy, since you're still looking for Lucky Eggs, I should probably mention Compound Eyes. Get a Pokémon with Compound Eyes (Butterfree, Nincada, Yanma, or Venonat) and put it in front of your party. It'll increase the chance of finding items attached to wild Pokémon.
