Fun fact: Twilight princess for wii is a complete mirror image of twilight princess for gamecube.

Also, never do this by accident. It is a terrible glitch that ruins the game.

Yeah, I knew that a few days after launch.

Also: In the part where the bridge collapses, DO NOT SAVE Until you go into the town. Otherwise you will never be able to get past the bridge.

Yup, I knew. Notice that the sun in Hyrule is a little... strange? XD

Y'know how in most racing games, after you beat them, you unlock all the tracks in "mirror mode," and you have to play through all of them again, backwards?

Well, I beat the gamecube version, and it's like I unlocked the game in mirror, because now it's time to beat the Wii version. I am already screwed up, though. I keep getting lost in the starting town. It's so confusing.

Whoa.

I just learned that you can attach an external hard drive to the Wii. Or have I been misinformed?

Almost certainly Yes.

I believe they were referring to the SD card support.

I don't think you can do it currently, but it does sound like something that would be simple to test. Just plug in external hard drive and see if it works.

Even if it doesn't work, this is the kind of thing that would likely be added via a firmware update.

Also, are you sure it didn't mean flash drive?

[s]No, they meant a real hard drive.[/s]
(EDIT: This was the only reliable looking story, I threw it up into a post really fast so I only scanned it.)

I just discovered something cool about the Wii yesterday. If you plug in an ipod dock that has a USB plug and hook it up with the Wii's USB port, the Wii will charge the iPod. Also, you can twist the Wii's cursor around by rotating your wrist.

I can't believe I rented Rayman Raving Rabids.

I could be playing tramua center, But no, I had to go for the minigame game.

Huh? Which bridge? I really want to know, since I'm not ready to throw away about 60 hours of gameplay (I just got into the sky city).

My advice would just be not to save at any bridge in the game, if you play again before you get an answer.

I like Rayman. it has a twisted sense of humor, and the mini games are pretty good.

I tried the iPod thing a few weeks ago, but I quit using the Wii as a charger after the first day due to it being hotter than usual.

Ah, you mean the stone bridge to the north of Kakariko Village and not the wooden one stranded in Faron Woods? Phew.

BTW, I was googling for TP and found this.

Quote:
Sky Dungeon unpassable:

When you go into the sky dungeon, a room somewhere to the right will have a key. I'm not sure with specifics. Well, if you don't get the key, and leave the room, the dragon will destroy the bridge and you will not be able to get that key and complete the game.

 I'd better stop saving my game progress every two minutes.

Either way, these glitches are unacceptable. I don't know how they managed to go unnoticed and end up in the final version! I certainly didn't pay (well, actually, I got TP for Christmas, but anyhow...) for a game that I can't beat if I save at the wrong time. The fact that you can't backup your save files on an SD card (which had always seemed purely logical to me before finding out you can't do it) is not helping either!

Also, is there any use for the USB ports yet (other than recharging other USB-powered gadgets)?

Do what I do then: make two save files on the Zelda disk. Save to one once you've completed an area, and then save to the other one when you've completed the area after that. Doing that will allow you to fall back on the save from the area before that without having a glitch ruin your game. Sure, you may lose an hour or so of progress, but it beats 50. :P

The Floating lamps are called Poes. You beat them by turning into a wolf, using your senses, and attacking them until you can rip out their soul.

As for the escort part, just make sure you can see the carriage at all times, attack the archers and birds as you are riding, and use the gail boomerang to put out any fires.

Also, covering up swearing is still swearing.
