Same. If Banjo and Kazooie were in this, life would be complete. They had Pokemon Trainer, so it's not too much of a strech of the imagination. Plus, Diddy is also a Rare character, so who's to say Banjo couldn't be in?

Rare is now owned by microsoft, in case you've been under a rock for the last while. Banjo getting in is extremely unlikely.

I think I'm one of the few people who's not happy to see Diddy Kong in the game. However, my main reason for that is that now there's virtually no chance of Donkey Kong Junior being in the game, and he would have been much, much cooler and much, much better than Diddy.

He would have been a Donkey Kong Clone. Diddy's actually pretty unique.

Perhaps this is the character that will match Fox "OMG SOO DOMINATING!!1" speed.

I dunno, I don't really like diddy kong and I thought it was a kind of wired choice to put him in. We don't know anything really about his power but im thinking it maybe weak, I know right now that I don't think I will play as him much or even at all. Im also thinking if they put Samus, Ridly, and some other character from metroid there could be DK, Diddy, and King K.rool. Im still hoping for the urban champions to get in somewhere.

Yes, but what I think he's getting at here is that the DK bunch *were* Rare, so it'd be harder to get some of the good quality stuff. Remember, Starfox was Rare too, now they're not (and the gameplay's changed up a bit). Also, just rememeber that we're getting Snake, so hush it up you.

Thank you, Mr. Nos. Also, the buying out of Rare is mainly what made me ant-Microsoft in the first place, so, despite my best efforts, I have not been living under rocks for the past while.

Regardless, Diddy Kong is awesome. Peanut popguns FTW!

The DK franchise was originally created by Nintendo over a decade before Rare got its hands on it. Sure, they made the other Donkey Kong characters (Diddy, Lanky, Chunky, Dixie, etc.), but Nintendo owns the original franchise, meaning that they are slaves to Mr. N (which is why they're showing up in that Donkey Kong Jet thing on the Wii).

Star Fox was also created by Nintendo. The first (and only) Rare-made Starfox game was Star Fox Adventures. Assault was made by Namco.

The reason why we're getting Snake is because Konami is a 3rd-party gaming company. Microsoft, under no circumstances, would give up a big game (Banjo) for use in one of Nintendo's most popular games. That's be losing money.

Plenty of characters have high speed. Like Pichu. One of the major things that makes Fox "god tier" is that frickin' shine. So stinking cheap.

My brother mains Fox in Melee, and unfortunately Luigi's recovery is exceptionally weak to Fox's shine attack. I've learned to despise the tactic, but I'm sure in some way it's made me a better fighter.

And yes, I'll take Diddy Kong over some boring DK clone any day.

thats cool that hey gave Yoshi a cool power now, but that new K.K. rider sucks. I hated how the people talked in animal crossing and that white dogs singing was twice as worse. Maybe there will be an option to adjust the music on the levels, I hope a least.

I don't think he is talking about diddy kong. I pretty sure he is talking about DK jr. being in the game rather than Diddy if you've read his past posts. He is opposing Joshua because he thinks anyother DK character would just be a clone of him, Homeschool wants DK jr. in and not Diddy
and says that DK jr. would not be just a clone of DK.

Why does Nintendo always screw Yoshi over with this stuff? Even his Megastrike in Mario Strikers is kind of lame compared to everyone else's.

Yoshi's Final Smash RULES. I never expected that.

Am I the only one who's happy about Go K.K. Rider? It's one of my favorite AC songs. The only thing that really disappointed me was the lack of proper percussion.

PLAY MOAR SUPA MARIO WORLD. Yoshi's FS is awesome and YOU KNOW IT. SO many memories of going in and out of that one level where there was a flashing koopa right at the beginning so I could tear through the whole thing as a flying, earthquake-ing, firebreathing Yoshi...

Go KK Rider = EPIC!!!1 Perfect choice for the AC stage's music, IMO. I'd like see have DJ KK as an alternate track, though.

Calm down, Ace. I understand the FS title is a bit misleading, but I wouldn't call it screwing up.

I wasn't really being serious there. Originally I had bad grammar/spelling in that post to let people know I was joking but I decided to make it legible. Guess that's my bad.

I read somewhere that Yoshi's full name translated from Japanese was something like "Super Dragon Yoshi", so that's probably where the name comes from.

Where did I say they screwed up? As far as I'm concerned, they're doing awesome with this game. I don't much care for DK's Final Smash either but I'll live.

Looking back, disregard everything I said, Yoshi's FS is pretty ballin'.

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure you'll have to visit the stage on Saturdays at eight to hear K. K. Slider signing along. Of course I could be wrong, but that's the impression I get.

Although personally I find K. K. Slider's voice hilarious.

Also, I'm not sure what Yoshi translates too, but I do know that if you beat the Super Mario World remake (for the GBA) 100% and go back to Yoshi's House, he gives a message that refers to him by the title "Super Dragon Yoshi". Also in that game, the five large coins were called Dragon Coins... seems to me that Yoshi was a dragon in the first game and a dinosaur in the games following.

I like the K.K. music, but my personal favorite would have to be Lucky K.K.

Super Dragon Yoshi looks, intersting, to say the least. I'm not too sure what else his Final Smash would be, unless it was that Yoshi stampede from the Melee intro. But we already have Pit's Unknown-esque Final Smash, so that wouldn't work very well. Looks cool though.
