I just figured out how to get infinite massages from the lady in Veilstone. Just set your DS clock to 23:59 and wait for the clock to roll over, she'll give you another one.

I would like to host a tournament here and am posting to see if people are interested. It would be a standard 6v6 tournament, double elimination, with ubers banned. I'd also like to give out a prize to the winner and runner-up, but to determine what it should be, I need to ask: how do people feel about cloned and hacked Pokémon?

Or maybe she meant that the prize was a non-hacked pokemon, and beardo was suggesting that Nix isn't allowed to use his team of 6 shiney mews with Max IVs and EVs.

I did mean as a prize. I have a Deoxys and a Lugia that would make good prizes, but I also don't want to part with them. :blush:

But I have some other legitimate things I can use as prizes too. Hacks that break the game will be banned of course; although obviously, if you just hack a Pokemon to EV train it because you're lazy, there's no way to tell.

In unrelated news, I just lost to the LAST Pokémon before the Tower Tycoon. it was a Dusclops with Toxic/Confuse Ray/Protect/Double Team and it just sat there while my guys killed themselves. AAAAAAAUGH *smash*

I got me a happy noobish but effective Wi-Fi battle towering team.

Rhydon - For his 1 hit KO and strong ground moves. I use him first to see if I can get in any cheap shots.

Brozong - Great defence and an assortment of moves that are extreamly good with his slowness. Use him to wear them down slowly.

Roserade - Just in there for the great special attack and drain moves, along with solar beam to hit hard on super effective pokemon.

DG PRESENTS: THE SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME CUP

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- Party of 6
- level 100 battle
- single match
- double elimination (I will have brackets up later)
- Report your wins and losses in this thread or by PMing me. You don't need to report Pokémon used unless there is a problem.
- It is YOUR responsibility to find a time to battle your opponent.

Rules
- Species clause: No more than one Pokémon of the same species may be used
- Item clause: No more than one of the same item may be used
- Explosion clause: If you use Explosion, Selfdestruct, Perish Song, or Destiny Bond with your last Pokémon, you lose.
- Once you have your first match, that's your team for the rest of the tournament. You can't change anything about it.

Banned Pokémon: Mewtwo, Mew, Wobbuffet, Lugia, Ho-oh, Wynaut, Latios, Latias, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus. These Pokémon are considered uber and are banned from most tournaments.

On Hacking
I don't really care if you hack just to get rare Pokémon or give it some EVs. I do care if you hack an unobtainable Pokémon, give it illegal movesets/abilities, give it more than 510 EVs, or anything else that can't be done without hacking. Don't do that.

Honor system, guys. Please report any banned Pokémon or illegal moves you might see.

Johnny, tell 'em what the winner gets!
1st place: The winner gets a complete set of Hoenn starters: Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic. They will also get one of the super-rare berry, Enigma Berry.

Shaymin's not on the Smogon uber list. It's banned because you're a cheating cheater if you use it.

Umm…The only good Pokemon I have is Scizor…and…the only other Pokemon I have is a half finished Clefairy and a somewhat decent Torterra.
So, either the date needs to be moved back a bit, or I just need to be removed from the list.

I think the tourney needs to be a bit later than tomorrow, I need to start training my team a bit more (Heatran and Glaceon need some work).
