LOL!!!!!

I only posted that "complaint" before to see if I could yank the chains of some of you guys and it looks like I succeeded.I really could care less about the PC greater than/less than Consoles debate.

I actually do own some older consoles. (Dreamcast, N64, Ect.) And I do most of gaming on my PC, but I would never actually argue that one is better than the other because they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

As for Halo 3. I dont have a 360 so I probably wont be playing it anytime soon if at all. It does look pretty cool and I have the PC version of Halo which was nice. (altough it was an extreme resource hog) I doubt that since it Microsoft took FOREVER to release Halo 2 for PC and only on Vista (C'MON VISTA!?!?!) that I will ever be able to get it.

I would also like to congradulate Microsoft for proving to all the haters that they can produce something that almost everyone loves.

EDIT: Oh yeah almost forgot. That Duke Nukem comic was freaking hilarious!!

I played for 21 straight hours yesterday.
The story is lackluster, but that was to be expected. However, the online co-op is really amazing. I think our party's connection only fell out about twice in 12 or so hours of playing (and on those two levels, even after we reconnected, continued, and beat them, it didn't give us credit for beating them). Pay attention to every line of dialogue and every cutscene, otherwise you'll be completely lost. The ending didn't surprise me, I kinda figured something like that would happen. The one thing I'm just a little peeved about NOW is the whole "Believe" marketing campaign. It would have been nice to see that battle all pan out, but I guess we never will.
Matchmaking is great, especially now that the sniper isn't auto aimed, and has a great deal of recoil, making it harder to use, and easier to not get sniped. It was a little hard to get used to the new lungeless melee. I keep on trying to hit people earlier than I can.
o, and I think I'm falling in love with the LAZER.

I'm actually going to get a 360 just for Halo 3. I'm probably going to get the Halo 3 Edition 360 too. Yes, I like the Halo series. I have yet to play it, but my friends say it is amazing.

Actually, it's usually the biggest Nintendo fans who are usually the ones who complain about certain things they've done. =P (Not insulting you or anything, since I've done the same)

Anyway, Halo 3. I'll probably get it quite soon. Though I don't generally go on Xbox Live much, if I don't get it, I'll probably never hear the end of it. I enjoyed the last two and I think and I hope I'll enjoy this one.

We should get some of us forum guys together (you, Cola, ducksecks, cyco, me) and play some BTB, or something like that.

So the Halo community found the elusive I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull this evening, at about 10:15PM EST. Immediately, I rounded my buddies, and we went into the level The Covenant to get it, because it was the only skull we still needed. Man, oh man, this one is a toughie. Never in all my life would I have figured out how to get this skull. Never in ALL MY LIFE.
So, potential spoilers here:
Spoilers wrote:
So, at the end of the level The Covenant, Arbiter kills the Prophet of Truth, after the Prophet used Johnson to activate the rings. Beyond his informal grave are seven large rings, representing the seven rings of Halo. We will call this rings 1-7, 7 being closest to were the Prophet was slain, 1 closest to the exit. As you go by the rings, they each have their note dedicated to them. And what do you know, these notes, when strung together in a certain way, form the notes of the Halo theme. Kill all of the Flood, and then embark on your arduous task. You must jump through 27 rings in a row, without messing up, and without dying or being killed by stupid teammates. Of course, Bungie wouldn't make it easy, but I will, and here's the code, in numbers of the rings, to access the I Would Have Been Your Daddy skull. 4 5 6 5 7 6 5 4 1 2 3 2 7 2 1 3 4 6 7 5 4 6 5 4 5 3 4. Once you jump through all the rings, the rings will all start flashing, and eventually will all light up simultaneously. Since you finish at 4, which is about mid way through the hallway, you have to go all the way back to the end (where the Prophet died) and the skull should be resting on the platform right before the light bridge.

This skull took the Halo community three days to find, after incessantly searching the entire landscape of the level.

Oh wow, I went to a nerd party last night and all they wanted to do was get that stupid skull. Then once we finally got all of them everyone had to make their own guy. Then once that crap was done they all insisted we play with Random starting weapons, infinite ammo, infinite grenades, overshields, 200% speed (on gaurdian), no headshots, invincible vehicles and other assorted bull crap.

I still pwnt, but 12 hours of that crap sucked butt.

Master Chief doesn't die... So Arbiter kills Prophet after Flood are temperarily on your side. After you touch the control pannel the Flood turn on you (Cpt Keyes has already died in an attempt to save Johnson) and you have to rush back were you came from. Then comes another Halo 1 flashback... You jump into hog and go across an expansive area where the ground around you is blowing up. It's quite fun. At the end you have to aim perfectly enough to launch into the holding bay of the Army's frigate. Then shows a cutscene of the Arbiter going to the cockpit while the Chief stays back with Cortana clinging for life on a terminal. The cutscene ends with Hood talking to a group of Marines, with a Memorial of soldiers who died. It shows Keyes and Johnson. After saying goodbye, the Arbiter leaves into a Prophet's ship with the shipmaster and ride off to "home." As the fellow marines walk off the camera pans the memorial and scracthed on it is a '117' (MC's #). Then the cutscenes. FOR THOSE NOT PLAYING LEGENDARY, DON'T WORRY. You can still watch the cliffhanging cutscene after the credits. The cutscene shows the Chief in space aboard his ship drifting through a hall. He enters a room and tells Cortana goodnight enters a Cryo-tube and the cutscene is over.

Thats a very condensed version of the last parts of the game ^
