As far as the creepy supernatural goes, I like to think of myself as an "optimistic skeptic." If that makes any sense. In other words, if something is just too obviously an ordinary human prank, I discount it, but I do believe there are things out there that we just can't explain. I'm more inclined to believe in ghosts than more corporeal mythical entities, though with some really way out of the way stuff (Mokele anybody?), I love all the searching and stuff. |

No new episode tonight. Just Whirlpool of Death and the infamous snow plow flip. You know the tune they were playing when Adam and Jamie were testing their scale whirlpool rigs? That's my favorite Mythbusters "song". For reference, it's the song that plays when Buster rides on the inflatable airplane slide, and when they escape from Alcatraz. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know if/where I can get a copy of that tune? |

I'm a big skeptic myself. Very big. But for me, I have to have very hard and physical evidence before I'm convinced. Also, if I can ask, Cyber. What is a Mokele? I haven't heard of that before. |

I'd have a field day walking around and exploring the studio. If anything, I'd like to be the proverbial 'fly on the wall' and watch them bust a myth first hand. Other than watching it on television. I think it would be pretty fun and interesting. Learn more that way. Science is cool and all, but the REAL prize would be to discover what explosive ingrediants they really use when they mix Cat+Donkey to make explosive pants. Wouldn't YOU like to see what's behind the blur?

Yeah, I'd like to see what Blur and Blur is. If I can ever figure out whatever happened to the potato gun I used to play with as a wee cub, I'd make me a mini cannon. No, wait. The tater gun was made out of a pvc pipe. Dang, not safe for high explosives. There's got to be something laying around that I could use. Oh, well. I'm inventive. I'll think of something. |

Oh, trust me. I'll be far away from that cannon when it goes off. I'm mischievous. But I'm not exactly careless about it. I come into this world with four limbs. I want to keep them. Heh, heh, imagine what one could do with the Mythbusters' chicken cannon and some Blur and Blur. Oh, the havoc I could cause. Was I thinking aloud? I'm so sorry. I tend to do that when my evil little mischievous side starts to show. I start planning and plotting. Then tinkering with things, inventing. Then things start getting destroyed and wrecked. And I'm in a state of bliss seeing my destruction. Oh, well. One can dream, can't he? |

Actually Indy, I used to have a potato cannon back a few years ago. all you need is some PVC pipe, a grill lighter, and some hairspray. Ohh....the fun times I had with that. I used to shoot with that thing on my shoulder. It's relatively safe, if done right. |

Potato guns are cool (if you're careful about making them). You average teenager probably shouldn't make them without people that knows what they're doing. We made some in high school. Used them to test various propellants.
I had cool teachers. |

I know something I'd like to see tested on the show. Luck. Like, will a rabbit's foot really make you more lucky? Or will walking under a ladder make you more unlucky? There has to be a way to test luck. I think it'll be something interesting to watch. I mean, they tested mind control and such. They should be able to do this. Just a thought. |

The nifty guide button on my TV says that this week's will be the "Diet Coke and Mentos" and the "Exploding Jawbreaker" episodes. Oh boy, "Exploding Jawbreaker"... Now we get to see someone other than Tory get hurt. That coulda been ME getting hit with molten candy.

Heh. I'm admittedly more of a pessimistic skeptic, just for the sole purpose of acting like I'm more intelligent than "OMGISAWAGHOST" types. Close-minded, I know. Anywho, I haven't actually gotten around to seeing this show, but it sounds like the thing I'd be interested in. *goes to DVR to record* |

Aww, wouldn't that be sweet? I hate Valentine's Day myself. I've never had nor been a Valentine. So there's nothing for me in the holiday. I just buy myself chocolate, eat it alone, and bite the head off of anyone that comes near me for the entire day. Oh, well. Yeah, I could see it now. If I may barrow a couple of lines from 'Recording with Pottery Myth': Kari: TORY!! Tory: Now I know what it feels like to be married to you. Yeah, would be a sweet thing if Tory just spontaniously proposed to Kari during the shooting of an episode. I'd watch it. |

Of course, you're all assuming that there's something between them.., I've had very friendly relationships with female coworkers and it's been just that, friendly. Besides, isn't Tory married? Ok, I'll stop being Captain Buzzkill now... I think I just got promoted to Major Buzzkill anyway.
I've always heard the myth that it's easier to hit a homerun with a ball made during a rainy year than it is to hit one with a ball made in a dry year. I think that'd be kinda cool. In fact, I think I'd even volunteer for that one, especially if it meant that I had to go to a Giants game. |
