I'd volunteer too, Rad. I've always liked baseball better than most sports. To go see a baseball game would be grand for me.

I've never heard of that myth. Sounds like a good viable one.

I'd like to see if they could figure out how Babe Ruth could hit the ball wherever he wanted it to go. I just wonder, you know?

I say there's a lot of myths in baseball. *cough* steroid use *cough*

Please, we all know that Ruth didn't use steroids. He just abused hot dogs and beer.

As for that myth Rad, I never heard of that one before. But don't the Rockies do something with their baseballs to make them do something?

I wasn't talking about Ruth. I know he didn't use them. And that's why I think he should still hold the record for the most homeruns. But that's just me. I know someone is going to disagree but don't bug me about it. I really don't want an argument, please. I have stress enough already.

Not that I've ever heard.

The thinner air up there DOES make the balls fly farther, but I don't think they do anything to restrict their flights.

I could have sworn that they used to put their baseballs in a humidifier, kinda like cigars.

Baseball? They've already covered one major American sport (American football). We don't want to get too generic here, right?

Besides, I'm sure that there are some great myths pertaining to, say, four-court grasshopper. Or something like that.

Wait, I'm confused. Did Tory actually like Kari, or not? *is lost*

It was just a joke I made up. It's actually going to be Grant proposing to her.

Spork, what exactly is four-court grasshopper? Or is this a kind of witty joke? Just wondering. There's tons of sports/games I don't really know about. I just know about your most basic of basic. And a few odd sports here and there.

Because Babe Ruth was arguably the best hitter of all time. It's not some kind of odd myth they could test: it's pure baseball skill.

I think it might be a pun on "cricket," but don't quote me on that.

Anyone watching Mythbusters right now?

Is that a nasty cold sore on Adam's lip or the remains of his stupid vacuum cleaner motor make-out session?

Exploding Jawbreaker...

Wouldn't it have been hilarious if, instead of being hit by hot candy, Christine just REALLY had to go to the bathroom. I ask because the camera crew practically broke down the bathroom door to follow her.

It's on his lower lip. Perhaps it is from when he was first basin' it with that Hoover motor.

I'm going to agree with you on that, Kirby.

But really, what I was asking, is how in the wild blue yonder that is the sky did he do it? How did he hit the ball to make it go where he wanted?

I know the man's the best player in the world. But I wanna know the secret to the hits. How could he put the ball wherever he chose to put it? It's just a small mystery to me that I'd like to know.

I'm the kind of person who likes to figure/find out how things work. I mean, I'll take apart almost anything and dig thru the guts of it to see how it work. (I'm meaning electronics, for all of you PETA fanatics out there, I just want to clear that up. Just incase)

Well Indy, a really good hitter can aim where he hits the ball. It all depends where on the bat the ball hits, and how he swung the bat. Since he was a lefty, if he swung late, it'd go into left field. If he swung too early, it'd go into right field. So it's entirely possible that he knew exactly how to swing the bat.

Thanks, Ramrod. That's all I wanted to hear.

It sounds reasonable really.

Also, I didn't know that Ruth was left handed.

Well, enough about baseball for now.

Rad, about Adam's 'cold sore', I think that was the aftermath of his vacuum smooching. Why anyone would put a Hoover that close to their face, I haven't the slightest. But this is Adam we're talking about. He does all kind of crap that doesn't really make sense.

A fair amount, yeah, now that I look at it. I guess Mythbustin' is a good workout. Also, he seems to have more hair than he used to. But maybe it's just grown out.

Oh, that is made so much more funny by Anna-Nicole Smith's death...

See, that is lulz.

Actually, that's not very funny. Death is never funny... Unless it's the death of a clown.

I totally didn't think of Anna Nicole when I made that (well, I DID get the overlay from an ad with her in it, but I didn't think about her dying). :-(

New Myth to test: Ty lets things slip his mind at incredibly inappropriate times.

Zeno and I thought it would be an awesome myth to test, The legendary Polybius:

Although, Buster wouldn't be a very good dummy to test the horrible effects. I suggest Tori.

That WOULD be something worth looking into, although I think it'd be more of a Snopes thing than a Mythbusters thing, as it's not really something you can build and/or explode while Tory breaks his wrist and Grant and Kari shoot soda cans at it.
