For all of you who think Cars pwned Over the Hedge, I'd like to remind you of a simple math formula that applies to animated films. Code: Studio Ghibli > Any other animation I have to disagree. Can you explain why, instead of saying "I have to disagree" or "I have to agree"? Well, I did edit that quote. And I just like Studio Ghibli more. Pixar is a grand animation studio, but Ghibli did Grave of the Firesflies. And Pixar has never done a film like that. And I like Anime more then American animation. |

So, I just got back from Garfield 2... Not even halfway through the movie, my brain was hurting. I mean, there are no words. Not even just that it was stupid, it also just seemed to be making itself up as it went along! Ow. I need some Coffee & Cigarettes, fast. Now, that's a good movie for ya... |

I know this isn't recently, but I remeber on New Year's Eve of this year, I stayed up and watched movies. The Blues Brothers was on TV, and I watched it, and I fell in love. That movie freaking rocked. |

I finally watched Narnia on one of my sick days last week. Wow! Although I had seen the cartoon when I was a kid, and I knew what was going to happen, I still cried. The CGI on Aslan was really good. |

I can't wait for Voyage of the Dawn Treader to come out. I always like that scene between Aslan and the burninator kid.

Why are they making a second Garfield movie? There shouldn't have even been a first. |

Clever Danielle wrote: the_chekt wrote: Why are they making a second Garfield movie? There shouldn't have even been a first. AMEN!!! Or for that matter, no more Garfield. I think Jim Davis no longer does the comics even. Ick, this reminds me of the time I was forced to see "Shark Tale" from Dreamwoks. In the theaters. I felt my life being drained from me with every second. It's the second wose film I've seen. The first is, "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl!" I still can't understand how a boy was raised by sharks and a girl was born in lava. They're childhood must have been really difficult. |

And how would they meet? Shark Boy: Well, one more day of my foster parents not eating me. Guess I'll go up there on top of that glowing orange mountain and see what's up there... |

What movie did I see recently? NACHOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo Seriously. Best. Movie. Ever. Made. Like, even better than Napoleon. MABYE even better than if they made a homestar movie. It would have to be incredibly lame to not be better than Nacho, though, just because H* is sooooo incredibly awsome. Nacho is currently #1 on my [s]bottom[/s] top ten list, though. |

I've seen Cars twice so far, and like all previous Pixar movies, it's original, funny, and all-around great. While I'm starting to think that Monsters Inc. was the best they've ever done, Cars is still one of the best movies this year (not that this has been a banner year for movies). |
