I went to see Superman Returns again on Saturday night. My sister and I were going to see Pirates, but it was sold out and she hadn't seen Superman yet. It was every bit as good the second time around. And I have a major crush on Clark Kent.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean on the 7th. Two words: Pure Brilliance!

Recently Saw Pirates 2 last Friday. It's currently my favorite movie of the summer. Before that, I saw Click. It was a lot better than I expected it to be, and it almost made me cry. Even further back, I saw Superman Returns. It a pretty good movie, dispite it dragging on at a few points. Yeah, I see a lot of movies.

I finally saw Serenity a couple weeks ago, too. Great movie... I loved it. The characters were well written and the acting was very good. Two of the most important things for me.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Pirates 2, which was awesome. Right after I watched that I finally saw "The Life Aquatic", which was really funny.

I watched High School Musical yesterday.
It was surprisingly good, I quite enjoyed it.
Very feel-good movie.

I finally saw Clerks last night--now I'm really anxious to see Clerks 2 when it comes out. Kevin Smith is a genius. A silent genius...>> ...But only on screen...he sure can talk up a storm when he's not in character.

Yes, Clerks is one of those little cinematic jewels that far too few people have been exposed to. When someone says they like Kevin Smith, then say that Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was a great film, I want to slap them.

Have you seen Mallrats yet? You've gotta watch Mallrats and Chasing Amy. Those should set you up for Clerks 2 (although Dante and Randall kinda disappear until Strike Back..)

StrongRad is right. Methinks one should see all the movies (well, except for Jersey Girl) in preparation for Clerks 2.

In other news, I went to see Pirates (finally) the other day. I mean yesterday.

Adaptation...

I am way too overwhelmed to give this movie a full breaking-down. But it is a masterpiece. I mean, the whole "I can love who I want to love" thing made the movie for me, not to mention the randomness of a movie about the guy making the movie.

You've got to love the quote from The Three at the very end, and the tribute to the twin brother...

Awesome.

Pirates own'd. I think that's all I need to say. Also, the movie has a great musical score...

Yeah, I loved POTC:DMC, too. I want sequel.

I wonder how many people pirated Pirates of the Caribbean.

I just went to see Cars with my little cousins. It was actually pretty good.

And of course, I saw Pirates a while ago.

I saw Monster House earlier today. It was good, but I'd wait to catch it sometime on DVD.

i watched Tokyo Drift yesterday. i liked the storyline.

WARNING! may be considered a giveaway. if you don't want to know, don't read this.

i think it would have been better that in the end, his dad let him keep the suped-up car and he went back to america to show it off to college-bully-jock-football player guy.

For me Monster House was veering more in the direction of "meh". I dunno, it just wasn't too appealing. But I'll probably get it anyways.

(Oh, and isn't the DJ kid Mitchell Musso? Because he's in Hannah Montana or whatever it is, and from what I've heard from it, they sound nothing alike...)

I saw Lady in the Water today. I really liked it, actually, and M. Knight had a bigger part in this one than the others... more than just a cameo. I love Paul Giamatti!

I watched Coffee and Cigarettes last night. The part with Jack and Meg White was my favorite. I also liked the one with GZA, RZA, and Bill Murray.

Clerks 2...

Friday night and again with Holly last night. It was that great. VERY NOT KIDLET FRIENDLY, though.

Still, it was a work of greatness. Kevin Smith's attempts at love and romance come off as cheesy, but you know what, a lot of directors come off a lot cheesier.

It does scare me that I see some of the things in Holly that you see in Dante's fiance (just nowhere near as extreme).

That movie is pure Kevin Smith.. It's all the vulgarity of a Wayan's Brothers movie, without all of the "when am I supposed to laugh?"

On the flight back from Rome I saw Curious George (Adooorable!), The New Pink Panther (Oh, gag, ughk), She's The Man (Funnyish, cute, pretty much what I expected from it).

But in our hotel, we saw...(Drumroll, please)

KUNGFUSION! Oh, man, I loved that thing. I didn't even understand the dang thing and it's one of my favourite movies. xDD

Now I GOTTA see Battle Royale. *Finally finished the book*

EDIT:

A TOPD? For li'l old me? Aww, shucks~ Image

Waste of time. It's the dog sitting on the throne. Nothing special.

Anything special happen after the credits of Clerks 2? I somehow failed to stay for the credits twice.. Well, ok, so we were pretty much shoo'd out of the theatre by the cleaning people both times. Gotta hurry up and clean the theatre so that people can get in there and watch 30 minutes of ads before the trailers, I guess.
