Last Night, or more accurately early this morning I was watching The Invisible Man. Amazing old sci-fi flick. It's great how a movie that old can still be entertaining today. |

I finally watched "V for Vendetta" and "Hostel" (the unrated version) just recently...I enjoyed both films, but after watching Hostel...I just gotta say that I'm thankful to have fully in-tact ankles. |

Still haven't seen Clerks 2! Grah. But the other night we had a miniSmithathon, with Clerks and Dogma. Man, I'm excited for the sequel. To Clerks. I hope I can make it this week. |

I watched The Weather Man tonight. One of those movies you watch while laughing and crying. But still... awesome. Paul Konrad's so much cooler than Tom Skilling... |

Clerks 2? Clerks 2? Oh man....... that's not even come out here yet! It certainly better come out, or I'll be setting some stuff on fire. ..... Mind you, to anyone who has seen it......... is it any good? Reason I ask, is because I have a love-hate relationship with Kevin Smith. If it's as good as Clerks 1 and Dogma, I'll DEFINATELY see it. But I CAN'T sit through another film as awful as Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back. I just....... can't. |

The last movies I watched were Mallrats on this one station a couple weeks ago, Clerks on last week's Comedy Central Secret Stash, and Dogma sometime last week. Oh yeah... and yesterday, I watched Napoleon Dynamite again. |

It's not as grand as Clerks., but it's definitely NOT Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It's somewhere in between. I place it between Mallrats and Chasing Amy. For me, anyway, my ranking of Kevin Smith's movies go in this order: 1)Clerks. 2) Chasing Amy 2a) Clerks II (raunchier than Clerks., but also funnier) 3) Mallrats 4)Dogma (Used to be higher on my list, but it's getting old, thank you, Comedy Central) 5) Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back 6) Jersey Girl |

Ok, I have to ask, is anyone here going to see Snakes on a Plane? I mean, seriously going to see it? I'm debating whether or not I should. |

I saw Monster House last weekend. It's a neat movie, it's got an interesting storyline with a big plot twist. I'd recommend it. |

But anyway, glad to hear that Clerks 2 isn't terribly horrible. But right now, Dogma is my absolute favourite, Clerks is the second favourite, and the rest...... meh. |

I saw "Clerks." a few nights ago. GO. SEE. IT. NOW. Great movie. Too bad I can't see Clerks II in theatres 'cause I'm to young. Yarr! I hate the man! Anyone seen WaterWorld? I'm watching it tonight. My dad says it's one of those movies that are so bad they're good. EDIT: Just how bad is Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back? I know it's bad because all my friends that have bad taste in movies say it's their favorite View Askew film. But seriously, how bad? |

It's not THAT bad, but it's, by far, the worst movie featuring that duo. Basically, the premise of the movie seems to be "let's put accessory characters into a main role and pretty much just see how much of them we can put into a movie". It's not horrible, but it's nowhere near as great as his other films. I'm pretty sure Kevin Smith is poking fun at the internet fanboys who talk about how much they would hate a movie like that. As for Waterworld, I've seen a lot of movies that are a lot worse. The big thing people have against this movie is the fact that it was one of the most expensive movies ever made, and it was a failure by almost every measure. I would have seen it in the theatre, but it was only out for 3 hours or so. |

I'm probably going this weekend. It looks to be the best movie ever. The defining cultural moment of our generation. The one movie nobody can miss. The movie that....etc (see also: sig)

So I finally saw Clerks 2, and I have never laughed harder in a theatre than I did at "Pillowpants". Holy freakin' crap. As for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it wasn't horrible. But it definitely wasn't the best. Actually, my order of preference is similar to StrongRad's: 1. Chasing Amy 2. Clerks 3. Clerks 2 4. Dogma (Ha! I don't get Comedy Central!) 5. Mallrats 6. Jay and Silent Bob 7. Jersey Girl Okay, now, in defence of Jersey Girl: It's not a bad movie. It's just a bad Kevin Smith movie. Hopefully you'll know what I mean. Anyway, I watched Must Love Dogs yesterday, with John Cusack. It wasn't very good, which made me really sad, because I LURVE John Cusack. Well, High Fidelity John Cusack the most. |

Yes. Pillowpants IS teh fune. Star Wars vs. Lord of the Rings was great, as was Randall's interpretation of the LOTR movies. Still, the most rofflicious moment for me was the whole thing with Wanda Sykes. MHG is completely right, though, Jersey Girl is NOT a bad movie. It's VERY different from anything else Smith has ever done, though. He gets bonus points for making George Carlin the "normal", "grounded" character of the movie. |

I watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind last night. It was weird, and pretty confusing, but I really liked it. It's one of those movies that makes your brain hurt. Your heart, too. SR wrote: Randall's interpretation of the LOTR movies
Oh. Yes. I loved that. Walking. Walking, oops, I tripped. Toss 'er in. Huh. |
