In a theoretical-type way. Like if I were magically transported back to the 60s.

I don't want to marry dead people.

That's why I hate most sports movies. It always comes down to the big game, and the big play at the end of said game. Just once, I'd love to see the last game be a complete blow-out, with the good guys winning or losing by some incredible amount by halftime.

Yeah. Sports movies suck. They should be banned from life.

I saw Forrest Gump last week. Great movie. I love movies where the main characters inadvertantly changes history (i.e., Forrest teaches Elvis to dance as a child, or Forrest calls the cops when he sees some people going through a room in the Watergate hotel). Great movie.

I just watched "The Naked Gun" on DVD last night. Awesome movie. Non-stop laughs, it's just so damn goofy. And with Leslie Nielsen as the main character (Frank Drebin), you know it's good! And on top of that, it was written and directed by the same people working on Family Guy, as well as the same people who worked on hit movies like Airplane, the Scary Movie series, and more! Man... they just have that sense of humor that appeals to me so well!

If I may quote...

Vincent Ludwig (offering a cigar): Cuban?
Frank: No, Dutch-Irish. My father was from Wales.

Kind of spoilers?

The Escape Clause

It was a pretty good movie, but the ending wasn't very great as I imagined before I saw it.

Y'see, Wikipedia says that in a scene Jack Frost is in a Skellington getup, which I thought was cool. And then I thought up a way to work that in, which...didn't happened.

What didn't happen:

Near the end, everyone confronts Jack as they try and unfreeze the parents(which I forget the names of). Of course, you can't unfreeze them without unfreezing Jack, so you'd have to get him to do that.

I thought Tim Allen was going to make a deal with Jack. That deal was that if he unfreeze the parents and unfreeze himself, he'd get his own holiday. Naturally, he agrees.

That holiday he gets is Halloween, which had a lack of in the Clause movies. He ends up being miserable at his new posts too, for it's all work for him now that he has to attend to Halloween.

What did happen:

Instead of cutting a deal, Tim Allen gets his niece(who he said has magical hugs) to hug Jack, which warms his heart, which unfreezes the parents. And he also turns into Pee-Wee Herman.

I like mine better. :p

I saw X-men III again on iControl. It was even better the second time. I've heard people say it wasn't good, but I'm not so sure why. I think, in order, the best are II, III, I. Yeah.

From what I hear, that's the consensus.

I really wanna go see Happy Feet, if only for the gratuitous cute.

Naked Gun is the only really funny movie that had a really funny sequel.

Frank:I want a world, where Frank Jr., and all the Frank Jrs, can sit under a shade tree. I want a world, where people can eat a sea otter without getting sick! I want a world where the Democrats put somebody up there worth voting for!

(Scence is Frank, his partner, and 2 other guys up on a stage in Mariachi costumes performing.)

Forgotten name partner: Frank, we gotta make are move.

Frank: I know, something more up tempo.

I saw "Addams Family Values" on ABC earlier today.

The joke at the beginning where the kids are at the hospital is one of the best in the whole movie. And it's a funny joke, especially because of who says it and what it is.

Yesterday I went to go see Casino Royale with 2 other people, we are going again tomorrow with more people.

I generally don't like Bond films but, Casino Royale=the best movie ever.

Just got back from Casino Royale.
Good movie, a bit thin on plot, but great action sequences and a nice amount of humor thrown in.

Dude, Naked Gun series is one of the best. And it has OJ, who always seems to get hurt or in trouble.

Just got back from Deja Vu. It was good, but a little over the top. Some of the action was unnecessary. A lot of it was just there for looks.

:poop:

I watched Pump Up the Volume tonight. It's half a generation before my time, but I can always appreciate someone utilizing the power of words.

The Phantom Menace

Best scene is where Maul gets slashed in half and finally blinks for the apperantly first time in the movie.

And then I saw Attack of the Clones but missed the whole "Clone Wars" thing and ending. And then I saw Revenge of The Sith but...somehow fell asleep.

Huh.

V for Vendetta. Yeah, I know everyone else here has already seen it. But I hadn't so STCU. Incidentally, the Fifth of November is the day that Faith suffered its split. Odd, huh?

Did anyone happen to consider why Dumpledore named his phoenix after Guy Fawkes?

LWW: extended version. Not a drastic improvement over the original. Really, the only cool scene they added was they put some bat creatures (bampires?) in the battle scene to attack the griffins. The rest of the added footage really just sort of drags the scenes out rather than contributing to the story (and in the staircase scene gets downright monotonous). However, they did a BRILLIANT documentary on the life of C. S. Lewis, relating it to his writing of the Chronicles. That alone makes the set worth buying.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby

Walker and Texas Ranger aare the coolest kids ever.

I'm going to make it a point to watch Anchorman later on.

And i probably won't be able to watch Booby Trapped: The Tale of Rusty Butte for a few whiles because it's going to be rated R.

The profession he plays in that creeps me out.

The CEO idea would have been funny.
