The last movie I saw in theatres was Stranger than Fiction. I saw it twice. First time through, it's an amazing movie. It's funny, and it has Will Ferrell in a new way that most people just aren't used to. And it's a good way. However, the second time though, it just didn't seem to have that same magic. I dunno, maybe I feel asleep or something. Also recently saw Cars and Over the Hedge on DVD, both are solid movies, and I would definitely watch either one of them again. Nacho Libre is another movie I had the chance to watch. I shouldn't have taken it. This movie is just bad. Don't waste money on going to buy it, you'll be sorry. You think it would be so stupid that it's funny, right? Well, it shouldn't be possible, but the movie is even stupider than that. It's just a dumb movie. Good for some laughs, but not a good choice if you are looking for a good movie. Finally, my brother recently brought over Superman Returns, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Both were very good movies, and both left me wanting more. In conclusion: Should you see it? Stranger than Fiction? Yes Cars? Yes Over the Hedge? Yes Nacho Libre? No Superman Returns? Yes Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? Yes |

I would chance "Hitchhiker" to "no".. I don't know about it. I pride myself on being a bit odd, but it seemed like it was too odd, even for me. I've been watching movies I got for Christmas. My list (on a scale of 1-10) Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby 6.5 (watch the special features, particularly the PSA's and Advertisements, they're way better than the movie.. They get an 11/10) Wedding Crashers 7 Total Hillarity Clerks 2 9 VERY NOT KIDLET FRIENDLY, but totally hilarious if you're not easily offended and/or grossed out (and that's all I'm gonna say) Bad(der) Santa 8 My fiance's dad bought me this movie when I was in Michigan for Thanksgiving. It's also highly not kidlet friendly, but I almost pee my pants every time I see it. Cool Hand Luke 10, if you don't agree, then "What we've got here is a failure to communicate". Days of Thunder 7 I still say that this is one of the best NASCAR movies ever made, even if the ending is totally predictable from about halfway through the movie. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation[i] 6, I know... Christmas is 300+ days off, but this movie is always good for a laugh. [i]Little Miss Sunshine 8.5 You ever get one of those movies that you open and go "WTF?!?"? This is that movie. I have no clue why they bought me this, but I'm glad they did. It's a really unexpected film. You should definitely rent this if you don't own it. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly 9.5.. Ok, so technically, I didn't get this for Christmas, I've had it a couple years, but I have watched it this week AND you gotta love the movie that launched Clint Eastwood. I will admit, though, that any movie that goes for almost 10 minutes without any actual dialog (and any 3 hour long movie with about an hour worth of dialog) kinda creeps me out. |

The most recent movie I watched is Black Hawk Down. This movie is one of the best military movies ever made. I definitely recommend it. If you can get the edited version it would be best though. The original has GD in it a little too much. But its a good solid military film. Rent - Buy - Ignore |

Rent - Buy - Ignore It's a very good movie. Some of the sacrifices people made in that movie are amazing. When you know that they're real, it makes them all the more unbelievable. Another really good "true" military movie is We Were Soldiers. Even though it has Mel Gibson in it, I dare you to watch it and not tear up. |

The last two movies I saw were Little Miss Sunshine and A Scanner Darkly. They were both pretty awesome. A Scanner Darkly is pretty confusing, though. |

I think that must be the dumbest title for any film ever. And it sounds like it might be pretentious - is it? |

The last movie I saw in theatres was probably Stranger Than Fiction, which was good. Although I missed around 15 minutes because the service wasn't good. At all. Last I saw at home was Anchorman. "The Human Torch was denied a bank loan." Best line ever. |

I've been getting into a lot of Wes Anderson stuff lately, so I decided to pick up Bottle Rocket, his first full-length movie. It's arguably his best film; Owen Wilson fits the role perfectly. Also, Luke Wilson's hair is really cool. Go pick up a copy some time (and ignore the dumb R rating, it's totally not that bad at all). |

Just watched Casino Royale. One of the greatest 007 movies simply because there is like no cussing and no real nudity. Awesome movie, I love the first chase when 007 is chasing that really really athletic guy. That was pure awesomonium. |

I'm pretty sure that there's not any real nudity in ANY of the Bond films. There's some simulated type nudity, but I can't think of any full out nekkidness in any of them. |

I'm just sayin' there isn't near as much in this movie. |

I saw The Last Mimzy today, and I liked it, even though I didn't quite get the end. |

I saw that last weekend (sneak preview, oh yuss). It was all right... if I was 10, it would have been my favorite movie ever. But for now, I think it was a little off. Something about the science teacher and his fiancee bugged me. |

I saw Disturbia last night, it was good, I liked it. It was a bit predictable and some parts were really corny but it got my heart pumping, and movies rarely do that to me. Go see it. |

Yeah, I thought it was pretty good. Not the best, but okay. I hate watching movies in crowded theaters, though, because there are so many people talking and being jerks and everyone throws popcorn at you if you talk and be a jerk. |

Whee, back from another kid's movie. This time it's Meet the Robinsons. And --GASP!-- I actually really, really enjoyed it. Like, after the whoo-it's-the-future montage that's in all the commercials, it becomes an insane time travel movie. And who doesn't love an insane time travel movie? |

I'm considering seeing it. |

I saw "Blades of Glory" last week. I highly recommend it. I mean, it's better than Epic Movie and has an interesting plot. |

Totally. Unfortunately, that's the only other new movie I saw this year, so I couldn't make a real comparison.

Just saw Borat in my friend's basement...
Also: The Invisible. It was okay. The entire "limbo" thing made only half-sense, and the ending was pretty sucky, which were my two problems with it. |

I saw Cars last night. It was really good. Just like I have come to expect from Pixar. And today, I saw Phantom Page: The Missing Link. |
