Shrek 3.

I usually expect movie sequels to suck. Most of them are basically failed attempts to force a continued story from their predecessors. Shrek 2 was one of the few delightful surprises; while it didn't have the same heart as the first one, it was far funnier. Shrek 3 was not a disappointment. It wasn't quite as funny as the second, but it still had a decent story and a good bit of heart to it. Well worth seeing.

SPOILER: I suspect that Cousin Artie is actually the son of Prince Charming. Of course, the original Arthur Pendragon was the son of Uther, and was left in the care of Merlin, but I can't help noticing the resemblances between him and Charming.

I saw that last night. I thought it was okay, but nothing special. What was the deal with Mercedes not killing the Captain when she had the chance?

RATES

If you thought Return of The King's end fight was epical, this will probably blow your mind.

It leaves room for a sequel, too, if they wanna do one.

I fell asleep a little bit through it though. It's talky, but funny and actiony.

plus a bunch of people get hung in the beginning.

I saw Soylent Green recently. Sure, the whole part about Soylent Green being people is exciting. But that's really kind of minor in the story. It's actually kind of a boring movie.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Old, I know, but so funny.

"Drugs?"
"No thanks, I'm straight."
"No, I mean, are you in here for drugs?"
"No. What are you in for?"
"Drugs."

I saw Freddy Got Fingered this morning.

I can understand how most people would find it to be the most horrible, pathetic filth ever made...But I REALLY liked it. I mean, it takes skill to make a movie so...devoid of sense.

A while ago I saw Shrek 3.

I thought it was lame. They sucked all the lulz out! I laughed like three or so times in this entire movie. In the last two, the laughs were practically tripping over each other! Jeez. Oh, also it was kinda sappy.

My vote: Not worth your time.

Just saw Forrest gump. It was okay. My dad skipped through all the "bad" parts because my little sister was watching it. Still good, though.

I just finished watching The Pink Panther (new one).
It was decent. The start sucked, but the rest was fairly funny.

I just saw that one Pixar movie with the rat. There were a few funny moments here and there, but as with most Pixar movies, it's more story-driven than laugh-driven. Still, it was an enjoyable couple of hours.

Yeah, doesn't the woman he's in love with do heroin at one point?

I remember that because Free Bird was playing in the background.

I wanted to see that so bad. I'm still kind of shocked it's only PG-13.

The Mac guy needs to GTFO, though.

TRANS.

FREAKIN'.

FORMERS.

I just saw it today, and it was really good. The CGI takes up most of the movie.....but who cares?

Man of the Year.

It was good, but if you expect a full-out comedy, don't. It's mostly this weird "not elected president voting conspiracy omfg crazy lady!" stuff with Robin Williams as a Colbert-ish guy, Christopher Walken in a wheelchair, and Lewis Black as some writer that follows him everywhere.

It's been a looooooong time since I saw a movie in theaters. But now there's a couple good things to see.

I was overwhelmed with all the positive things everyone was saying about Ratatouille, even though the trailer made me wonder how they were gonna fill a whole movie with that plot, interesting though it seemed. But what movie gets 95% on Rotten Tomatoes? So between that and Transformers, which had the potential for great awesome but was more of an unknown, I saw the rat thing. It's like Didy said: not non-stop lol, but it wasn't meant to be that anyway. It's a great story and not overly preachy and safe like most Disney things. Probably the only G movie this year that actually could be enjoyed by all ages (the trailers for the other cartoons and kids movies before the movie started all looked terrible. Bratz? Underdog? Jerry Seinfeld as a CGI bee? What is he out of money now? I don't think that's possible... he's probably just bored).

But now that everyone's coming back from Transformers with their minds blown, gotta see that now. Maybe today? Dunno.
