It came out yesterday.
The main character guy got shot, slashed with a sword, and pushed down like, 100 stone stairs all within 5 minutes and was perfectly alright.

I have never laughed so hard in my entire life. And I laughed throughout the entire movie.

I first saw part of The Blair Witch Project. Didn't get it at all. It was mostly a blank camera/the annoying chick screaming/random running with the annoying chick getting left behind but surviving. And then the end was weird. Did the stuff in the credits come before she maybe died or not?

Then I saw Halloween Ressurection. It was ok. Thought that Micheal getting the crap kicked out of him was lame though.

And I also saw part of H20. I fell asleep before he murdered anybody though and I was awake at least an hour into the movie.

I finished watching Death Proof this morning. Awesome movie. I loved the way the movie pretty much brings back the same characters, just as different people.

Watched Transformers, The Mothman Prophecy, and Poltergeist last night..
It was pretty cool.
Made even cooler since we were sitting around a bonfire in the middle of a field.
Rednecks + Technology = fun.

I saw the Iron Giant yesterday. It was better than I thought. I remember when cartoon network showed a THREE DAY MARATHOUN on thanksgiving. It was the same movie over and over and over and over...

Bump.

Went to see Dan in Real Life over the weekend. Now correct if I'm wrong, but I think it's the first time Steve Carell has ever done a romantic comedy. Whether it was his first or not, he overall succeeded in entertaining me for an hour and a half.

New favorite movie: Into the Wild. Dunno if it's out in wide release or only artsy theaters, but go see it. Holy crap go see it. Maybe I'm all about it just because it touched very specific issues in my own life that might not be applicable to anyone else at all (which would explain why I would rate seeing this movie in my top 5 most emotional experiences of my life), but I don't care: everyone should go see it.

That was my friend's favorite book, so we'll probably go see it sometime.

I watched Wizard of Oz on TBS trying to find the part where the munchkin hangs himself but I missed it and went "wtf" and then I fell asleep.

I'm taking a film studies class. So far we've watched, in roughly chronological order:

The Great Train Robbery
City Lights
Koyaanisqatsi ("experimental film"...look it up)
Visions of Light (documentary on the history of filmmaking)
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (German expressionist film)
Metropolis
The Maltese Falcon
Le Samourai (French film-noir)
Citizen Kane
King Kong (the original)
Gojira

I might be forgetting a couple but whatever. We're watching Casablanca and The Searchers next.

I saw SuperBad last night. Best freakin' teen comedy I've seen in a long time. This movie was, like, what American Graffiti was to my father.

Saw No Country for Old Men last Friday. It was significant.

Great film, I highly suggest seeing it. The suspense was flawless.

Well, I just bought and saw Bender's Big Score today. but that has its own thread.

But the night before that I watched Raising Arizona on TV. Awesome movie. The Huggies-stealing sequence is hilarious.

Saw "Enchanted" a week ago.

Great, great movie. Love the constant Disney parodying, but it still had its honest, sincere, heartfelt moments. Definitely one of my new favorite Disney movies of all time. A-.

The last movie I saw was American Gangster. That's right, I haven't seen any movie since November.

What? That movie hasn't even come out yet over here...
Anyway, I watched Beowulf and Hitman two weeks ago and last week. Go cheap Tuesdays.
Though I doubt I'll be going to the movies this Tuesday...
