My favorite new characters: Ike, Dedede, Toon Link. Favorite returning characters: Luigi, Falco, Marth I like Marth a lot more than I did in Melee. Probably because Roy isn't distracting me with his awesome anymore. Falco's quickly becoming one of my best characters. If I can stop killing myself with his side B I'll be golden. I'd like Wolf too but he's tough to get used to. extremejon09 wrote: Lucas, Lucario, Game and Watch, Jigglypuff I loved Jiggly in Melee, but something about her seems really different in Brawl and I can't use her as well. |

Fun fact: after trying for about half an hour to beat event match 41 with any of my best event match characters (meta knight, pit, sonic, lucario, luigi, etc) I got fed up/ticked off at the game, and threw jiggypuff at it. Guess what I won first try.

I owned the final event in Melee with Jiggly. I think I beat it with her multiple times and beat it like once with Roy and Luigi. Haven't unlocked 41 in this one yet, but I assume it's like the same deal. |

Oh wow, I feel stupid. How do I unlock events 29-40? I've beaten the first 28 already. |

Bugkiss wrote: Oh wow, I feel stupid. How do I unlock events 29-40? I've beaten the first 28 already. You have to unlock certain characters to play the later event matches. Once you get everyone, they'll be open to you. So get to work! |

My favorite new characters are Snake and Olimar....I don't really care for anyone else. My favorite vets are Marth (only character i'm good with) and Ice Climbers. |

I rented this game and there's so much going on at once it gives me seizures almost. All I do is do dash off the platform as Fox the entire time because I forget the buttons. I can't handle this hardcore stuff Nintendo puts out... |

So I finally got around to beating The Subspace Emissary last night. It took me well into the night, but consarnit, I got 'er done. (And people have been saying I haven't done anything constructive this Spring Break... feh! I just saved the world of the Smash Bros. from being engulfed by Subspace! I just united all the Smash Bros. together in peace! If that's not constructive then what exactly is?!) I personally really enjoyed the SSE adventure mode. It was really interesting to watch the story progress, and I went flat-out goo-goo eyed for the cutscenes. Some of them were so INTENSE and EPIC, where as others were really simple and sincere. So much was relayed without the use of dialogue too. Heck man, I even felt the emotion in a lot of the scenes. The gameplay was pretty solid too. The level design could have been a bit better, and there were some really unnecessary areas, doors, etc. Bu' hey, some of the guys that worked on developing the SSE were involved in the Final Fantasy series... so I guess we gotta keep that in mind. And I'm not registering all these complaints with the Great Maze... What exactly was so bad about it? It's length? It's recycling of previous levels? I thought it was fine, and pretty easy to follow. The trick really is to just keep referring to the map. All you gotta do is keep your eyes out for the blue dots that don't have those white connecting lines. But yeah, the SSE was pretty fab. Don't know if I'll be trying the whole thing over again any time soon though... Oh, and I have also unlocked all the characters now. Wolf is sick, and Game & Watch is starting to grow on me again, just like he did in Melee. |

I sometimes kill myself that way because I think he'll edge grab and he doesn't. D: I gotta start canceling his jump on the way down if I'm going straight. |

Does anyone here think that the difficulty levels on Solo should have worked like this: Instead of getting more powerful, the computers should get smarter as you increase the difficulty level? I can easily outwit an Intense CPU...but when it comes to strength, I just get smacked down and practically raped. Battling Very Hard Ness and Lucas took me down from 4 lives to 1. And don't even get me started on Game and Watch. Lousy Manhole... |

Hey Jon I just realized something. Remember that 3 Minute Brawl in which we KOed 100 guys and it was the High Score? Turns out I saved the replay data from it. ![]() Acekirby wrote: My favorite new characters: Ike, Dedede, Toon Link. Favorite returning characters: Luigi, Falco, Marth Oh, also Kirby. I like how he doesn't suck this time around and is actually pretty ballin. |

Brawl's not coming out for a long, long time here in the UK... So we decided to get Melee instead. And we can see why everyone loves it so much. It's really fun! I'm pretty good (by beginner standards) with Ness and possibly Mewtwo... but Mewtwo's only been unlocked since yesterday. I like playing as Link and Kirby, and I'm terrible with Marth. Mewtwo's not in Brawl, is he? ... |

Ju Ju Master wrote: Why? Because I was glad to see a completely new character who didn't have any connection to the roster. I was waiting anxiously to fight him. If he had been revealed for what he was right at the beginning, I wouldn't have minded. But we already had a few "changes of heart" during the story, and by that time I was like "wut". Plus I don't like ROB. He's got good moves, but ugh... DumDeDum wrote: Mewtwo's not in Brawl, is he? ... Nope. He, Dr Mario, Pichu, and Roy got the axe. God I miss Roy so much. |

ATTENTION PEOPLE OF EARTH!!! The fanstuff forum peoples (not to be confused with fanstuff peoples, who for the most part aren't connected much anymore) are essentially ready for a Brawl tournament sometime early next month, in a few weeks or so. So basically this is what you guys need to organize. - EIGHT willing participants - To qualify you need to both currently own Brawl and having working WiFi with it, preferably with low lag - Skills advised, but not required - If possible, a few reserve players in case someone isn't able to make it when the time comes As soon as we finalize our super group over here, I'll post the list of your opponents. Also in the near future I'll post a small set of rules (or rather, lack thereof ) for us all to agree with/debate to the ends of the earth. IN the meantime, get to group forming. Since you seem to be the most eager Acekirby, perhaps you can be group captain.
