Here's what I suggest...

- 1 versus 1
- 4 stock, no time limit
- best 2 out of 3
- NO banned stages or items, pick whatever you want and Nintendo will randomly decide whose choice wins
- Deal with whatever bad luck you get from items/stage hazards, multiple rounds should help even things out somewhat
- If lag is completely unbearable, cancel out for a reschedule/different opponent during or right after the first round; DO NOT use lag as an excuse after losing a 2 out of 3
- No banned tactics or characters, be whoever you want and do whatever you want

Team tournaments are also a good idea, but I personally think we should take this one at a time.

My rounds against extremejon convinced me that I ought to be able to win regularally against people with less practice even with random crap going on everywhere. ;)

But now that that's settled, get with the group forming. *nudge* I'll leave you alone for that.

Oh cool I just figured out how to do that stupid little glitch with Lucas where you use your PK magnet and it sends you rocketing backwards.

I wish I could find a use for it other that dieing hilariously.

I know man! That part was heavy!

Oh, and the Dragoon cutscene was a big ol' rainbow of awesome. Srsly.

I'd also like to put my two cents in on this tournament idea...

There should be two options really for this tourny... methinks... The first option is: Play it out professionally. You know, like the Smash pros do. I'm talking one on one matches, three lives, no items, and the only acceptable stages would be Final Destination, Battlefield, and maybe Smashville and Yoshi's Island. A tourny that goes down like this puts brawl technique to the test. With no items, the brawlers gotta rely on their mastery of their characters, etc. But seriously, this is how they do it in the big leagues. Check on YouTube.

Now I admire the pros the prowess as straight-out brawlers... But think about it. Part of Super Smash Bros. is the wide array of items, and the innovative levels. Yeah a lot of the items and the obstacles in the stages totally throw you off at times and screw you over but they're what gives SSB that touch of mayhem it's known for. If you can't deal with the items and obstacles... you can't make it far in SSB. You gotta roll with it all. Embrace the madness.

The second option is: Let it all hang out! I'm talkin' good ol' fashioned, down n' dirty brawlin'. One on one, three or four lives, all items, all stages, all in. Yeah some players might hit unlucky circumstances, but chances are there's an equal chance that bad luck could hit any other player. This option is basically what Joshua outlined.

I myself would prefer something along the lines of the second option, but I can roll with the first option. There shouldn't be something in between though guys... c'mon.

Anydangway, that's just my opinion.

The people here are very picky, they'll pretty much only go with Option 2. Which is why we are doing that! Fun serious rounds will have to go elsewhere.

Also, here is your list of opponents... of doom! Bolded are the main fighters, back-ups are italicized.

> Joshua - Olimar
> KickCheat - Mr. Game & Watch
> Bassium! - Snake
> Dinoshaur - Ike
> Shadow Scythe - Meta Knight
> Tommyspud - Fox
> Spyrox6 - King Dedede
> The Spanish Inquisition - Pit
> Homsar44withpie
> TheDenzel
> Jakeula
> Nelson340

Also a main character is attached for identification/preparation/etc. But it by no means forces them to play as only that character, so be prepared for anything.

So now is April 5th (Saturday) as the date? Two weeks from now, think that'll give you guys enough time to prepare?

Check it, everybody. Here's a stage I made. Here's some screenshots.

Everybody spawns up here. What happens when you fall?

Springs. All across the bottom is springs. You gotta change up your tactics, using only air moves. Download it and give me some feedback.

I've made stages like this.

That is some pretty sweet thinking!

My friend went goofy and decided to make one stage that has a long and huge platform with two ladders on the side of it. Makes the whole fighting experience an eyesore.

I made one similar to this, except rather than springs, you have those blocks that fall down after you step on them. CPU players seem to have a hard time with them, but it's a really fun stage nonetheless. Anyone who uses ROB on it automatically wins due to his cheap up-B.

I HAVE A STAGE WHERE THERE'S ONLY ONE PLATFORM AND THE REST OF THE STAGE IS COVERED IN SPIKES

THE IDEA IS TO DOMINATE THE STAGE AND AVOID THE SPIKES

I CALL IT DETHBAWKS

I THINK IT IS VERY ORGINAL STAGE PLZ DON'T STEAL
