Sci-Fi Greg and DS_Kid have not replied to PMs from their fanstuff opponents, sent days ago. If they do not reply before the time's up, they'll be kicked out. We can't have inactive guys move on. Conversely, since Rusty has actively tried battling TheDenzel, he'll be the one moving up if they can't arrange their battle. But please, let's see if we can avoid knocking anyone off by default. |

Oh, right, I forgot to tell you all that I can no longer participate in the tournament due to time constraints. Sorry. |

Oh, that's all right then. Would've been nice to know sooner. Someone else want to take his place and battle JeRM before the weekend is done? Otherwise the fanstuff forum will get a free win. |

Sorry Noid, but I need the right number of people or else someone won't have a battle in the next round. Color Printer wrote: *writes name on substitute list* Just in case. Okay, you take on JeRM. It's official! Go work out a time tonight or tomorrow. |

Ai no Uta Lyrics translated to English: Quote: Plucked from the ground, we follow only you Today once more we’ll carry, fight, multiply, and then be consumed Neglected, called forth again, then cast away Still we serve and obey you I wonder if you’ll play with us soon I wonder if we’ll quietly go out Oh, oh, in the sky Ah, falling in love. There are so many forms of existence on this star Today once more we’ll carry, fight, multiply, and then be consumed Plucked from the ground, gathered together, and ignored Yet we don’t ask that you love us I wonder if you’ll play with us soon I wonder if you’ll try even harder Oh, oh, in the sky Ah, falling in love. Combining our power, fighting, being consumed Still we serve and obey you Fighting, keeping quiet, facing whatever Yet we don’t ask that you love us

Anything on Pirate Ship, Halberd, or Luigi's Mansion is gold. Golden Sun song, too. |

The Golden Sun song is good, but I can't really connect it to any of the actual music from Golden Sun. Which is probably the second best RPG series I've ever played, after FF. Those few standalones like SMRPG and Chrono Trigger don't count. But I actually think the best song is Ashley's Song from the WarioWare stage. |

wtf Great Sea? It's good, but the sheer awesomeness of Song of Storms and Molgera Battle should make you forget all about that. The Golden Sun song seems to be a remix of the final boss song, but it doesn't really sound like it. I can't tell if it's supposed to be the final boss of GS1 or The Lost Age. I'm guessing Lost Age. They should have made it a battle medley. I want my Isaac's Theme and Saturos Battle Theme! |

Quote: The attack you can perform when climbing up from a ledge changes when your accumulated damage climbs over 100% or so. Oh sweet Quote: Stickers and CDs picked up by a computer-controlled player will not be added to your collection. Oh god no Quote: After inputting the command for Fox and Falco’s side special attack, quickly press the special move button a second time to throw on the emergency brake and stop the attack. Sweet now I won't die every time Quote: A good number of projectiles, like Fox’s Blaster, weaken when used from far away. Snake’s Remote-Controlled Missile is an exception to this rule. You’ll do more damage with the missile if you hit from far away. Sweet now it's not useless Quote: Every once in a while Pit will utter "I’m done for..." as his death cry. You clever clever man Quote: When cruising along on the Wario Bike (Wario’s side special move) you can perform taunts and wheelies. Sweet now I can be a jerk to everyone ON A MOTORCYCLE Quote: The kick in Luigi’s down taunt is an actual attack. It even has a meteor smash effect. Wait doesn't meteor smash mean "Strikes them straight downward"? How could you possibly do that in the air? Quote: Tap the direction opposite the way you are facing immediately after using Captain Falcon‘s or Ganondorf’s neutral special move to make your character switch the way he’s facing and increase the power of the attack. Interesting Quote: Approximately one out of every 6 C4 packs Snake uses will be a C3 butterfly explosive. The power of the attack is unchanged in these instances. I CAUGHT YOU THIS TIME Quote: Brawl’s director, Masahiro Sakurai, provided the voice for King Dedede. oh god is that what you sound like in real life I'm gonna have nightmares Quote: # You can ensure you go to World 1-1 on the Mushroomy Kingdom stage by holding down a button as you select the stage. For the GameCube and Classic Controllers, hold down the X or Y Buttons. For the Wii Remote control scheme, use the A Button, and for the Nunchuk and Wii Remote combo, hold down the Z Button. # ■If you feel like you’d like to play Mushroomy Kingdom’s World 1-2, you can choose that one as well. When playing with the GameCube or Classic Controller, hold down the L Button or R Button while selecting the stage to go to World 1-2. When using a Wii Remote, hold the B Button, and when using the Nunchuk and Wii Remote combo, hold down the C Button. cooooool Quote: If your teammate exhausts his or her supply of lives during a stock team brawl and you still have a life to spare, your teammate can take one of your lives and jump back in the game by pressing the A Button and B Button at the same time. These buttons correspond to the standard-attack and special-move buttons on most control schemes, but even on the Wii Remote you need to press the A and B Buttons. god this update is so much win |

Color Printer wrote: What?!? It's called night. People like me sleep then, ever heard of it? Eh, I don't know your time zone or sleep schedule. Maybe people stay up some time after the sun sets. At any rate, you still had the day as well. He was looking for you. If you find some time to battle him soon you can and move up, but if I wait for all you slowpokes this tournament will never get done. It's time to mooooove oooooon! ROUND 2 TOURNAMENT COMPETITORS ON HRWIKI FORUM SIDE - Acekirby - Extremejon - Rusty (by default) COMPETITORS ON THE FANSTUFF FORUM SIDE - Joshua - KickCheat - Shadow Scythe - JeRM (by default) STILL UP IN THE AIR Sci-Fi Greg vs. Dinoshaur The default winners are those who tried actively to find their opponent but got almost no response, it's not their fault they couldn't play. The only reason Sci-Fi Greg and Dinoshaur get extra time was because they tried setting up a round yesterday but got cancelled by technical difficulties. You two have a few more days to battle before we figure out who moves up... so please battle, as that won't be an easy decision. In the meantime, here are the rules again. - 1 versus 1 elimination, everyone is randomly paired up again against someone of the opposing team - NO items, stages, characters, tactics, etc are banned; you are allowed to keep your character the same each round or mix it up; pick the stage and item settings you want and the game will randomly choose whose to use (do not set items to NONE or HIGH) - Rounds must be 4-stock, no time limit - For the first round, games are best 2 out of 3; add your opponent's friend code and privately arrange a time this week or weekend to battle him - No whining if you lose that your opponent used "cheap" tactics or got lucky with items; some lag is expected but if lag is simply unbearable, quit before the second round and request a new opponent, don't use lag as an excuse after losing twice - If the results are lopsided, you may have to fight a fellow teammate in the next round, sorry Also can we all agree that if we can't find a time to fight during the week, to meet here Saturday at 8 PM EST to battle? Will that work? Haven't no set meeting time really hurt last round's performance, so at least try to show up here at that time. And now, the random bracket. EXTREMEJON09 vs. SHADOW SCYTHE ACEKIRBY vs. JOSHUA RUSTY vs. JERM [Winner of Sci-Fi Greg/Dinoshaur] vs. KICKCHEAT So let's Brawl! |
