Snake looks killer. I wonder how his plethora of gadgets will be used...

So much for "not using realistic guns".

Dude, Piplup is awesome and you know it!

I wish they would stop wasting time with Pokemon updates.

Just give us a "Pokeball" item update and be done with it.

Ignore Tingle, look behind...

Do I see a bulborb in that image? Hmmm... I'd like Captain Olimar to be a fighter in Brawl. I think he has a good chance.

Is it me, or does Tingle look like he's trying to do a Facepalm?

Nintendo thinks far too highly of Wario. It's a good game series and everything, but it's not a better update than Smash Bros story mode.

Post entire list, please.

Wow, the first update on that list that I thought was astounding was The Subspace Emissary. Then Ike, then Assist Trophies, then Music.

Um... yeah.

Thank you Nintendo, but I'd like the general public to determine what it thinks the "best updates" are, as opposed to the people actually making the game and determining what to go public with. Yeah.

On that matter, has anyone seen any similar lists by IGN or anyone else?

*cough* Uh, Nintendo Power technically isn't written by the people who made the game.

Well yeah, granted. Still though, while it's not the designers themselves, it's close with the company itself, that getting any sort of "Top Ten Best" list to me simply seems an advertisement as groan-worthy as today's bold'd subtitles for the pics.

(You can view them from a variety of angles. Whirrrrrreeee...)

I agree with what you said before, the general (well at least people who know about the game) public should be the ones to chose the best updates, this is similar to what Gamepro has "picked" as the best for games. Personally I think the Online play (even though it is a bit weak) is one of the best updates along with assist trophys and Music features.

Whirrrrrreeee..., indeed..., thanks nintendo for your imagination! :)

Nintendo Power's actually surprisingly unbiased some times. I mean, sure, it considers Nintendo stuff to be superior to non-Nintendo things, but they'll let you know if a Nintendo game is crappy or over-hyped or whatever. I think they gave Twilight Princess a 9...
