Snake is the greatest thing to ever happen to this game. Although where exactly will these codec calls come into play? They better not interrupt the fighting.

You know, before I was kind of "meh" about Snake being in this.

This new update pleases me greatly. His voice is pretty sweet. Also his moves, etc, etc...

Intresting little thing I noticed. When Snake is fighting Mario, Mario uses his spin move, which was his b-down move in melee. But wasnt his b-down move replaced by F.L.O.O.D from Super Mario Sunshine?

They said that his spin move would return, but they didn't tell is how.

It looks like it's his Down A in the air. That's called some weird term by hardcore Smash players (Dair?)

Good, because I would have been ticked if they took out his breakdance move for the Mario Tornado. They should have just kept his old moveset anyway.


Also something Scott from Fanboys is predicting...that Luigi's dreaded vaccum will be in the game (like Mario's Fludd). I pray to God that that over-used gimmick will not be in this. Luigi's Mansion was a good game, but come on.

Now that I think about it, luigis b down move will probably be the vacuum, considering him and marios moves are the same. (Besides the bleft and right ones)

Wait a minute... I watched the Snake video again... it also confirms the baseball bat item! I totally missed that the first time!

It also seems to confirm that Wario's got some sort of Bite attack (unless they already have and I'm just not paying attention. EIther way, makes sense with those ridonculous chompers that dude's got.

Obviously fake. The selection screen would have to be way bigger, since there are way more characters than that, and how would someone get the game? It's obviously not a test photo that leaked out, 'cause it's some crappy home TV.

It's pretty obvious that it's fake, looking at the roster it shows. No Captain Falcon? Ness/Lucas? Ice Climbers? Ike? Meta Knight? Diddy Kong? Just a few guys from the website, uncreatively lined up just like they were in Melee, with nothing but static images from the site and the Brawl index style we've already seen. Plus there's very little room for new secret characters, and the four ? slots on hanging off to sides a la clones, which we're all fairly sure that Brawl will lack.

As for as how it's on the TV, it's called getting a regular image onscreen. It's very easy to do with either a digital camera or a Wii, and doesn't add any further credibility to the fake.

Technically there is room for another row underneath the two we see. Remember that the clones didn't have blank boxes before being unlocked. Doesn't mean I think it's real though. If it is, then we have a max of 27 characters (+ZSS assuming she's like Sheik), which means we've already seen all but 7. And I doubt that's the case.
