Yay. Sonic.

The very first console game I played when I was young was Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and I loved it. The Megadrive has always been a favourite of mine, for nostalgia reasons... but Sonic today isn't as good as it was back then. I got the Wii Sonic game, and it's just been gathering dust under all the other Wii (and GameCube) games I've accumulated since getting a Wii. I'm still happy Sonic's conirmed in Brawl.


Now all we need is a Miles "Tails" Prower Assist Trophy, Green Hill Zone stage, and some Sonic-related item of sorts...

Hah! I now proceed to laugh at all the Sonic naysayers. Yeah, he's in Brawl. Get over it. Sure, his console games haven't been so great, but think of his glory days, also, think of Rush. A recent, solid game. Also, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games almost promised him in Brawl. And besides, THIS ISN'T A SONIC GAME. It's Smash bros. Sonic is now just a character in a great game.

Also, changing the release date, Nintendo? You make me sad.

And Disk, where did you get all that information. I know that it was changed to TBD, but nothing else.

Ugh, well that wasa dissappointment for me, but I still haven't lost a bet with my friend about sonic. I had great feeling he would be in brawl, and now Im sad that it is true. The good thing is that I can beat him up in the game for having such terrible games now.

There's no denying that Sonic will always come along with his cheesy catchphrases and his 80s redux rock. We're just gonna have to deal with it. But it's not all that bad. After seeing the Sonic video, I breathed a big sigh when I heard the old-timey jump sounds and "boingy" springs from the good old days. This might promise a lovely Sonic the Hedgehog (the game) stage (hopefully Green Hill Zone). Ath-a-late approves.

Yeah, the series has been really dissapointing recently.

The sonic wii game was the worst sonic game yet. The controlls were stupid.

I think he'll be better in brawl. But the olympic game is going to be stupid, without a doubt.

Anyways, I sold my wii to get a 360 a few weeks ago, so you all should delete me from your friends list, since I forgot to.

Lastly, if there's any advice I can give you, it is dont read nintendo power. Being in nintendo's back pocket, the give most wii games .5 to 1.5 points higher than any other magazines. Also, dont trust anything reggie fils-aime says. He's an idiot.

This is the stupidest thing ever, please let this be some sick, horrible, twisted joke.

I was pretty disappointed when I saw Sonic was gonna be included, but after watching the video, I'm not as upset. His voice is still annoying, but it could be worse, and it's nowhere near as bad as Tails' is now (if he is in Brawl I'm not gonna be happy). As long as he doesn't talk too much, he doesn't look too bad.

But it sucks that the release date is being pushed back again, that's not cool. Hopefully it won't be too much farther, it seems like we've been waiting for ages.

But remember the old saying, "You can turn a delayed game into a great game, but a rushed, crappy game remains crappy."

I actually loved that gameplay video. If only I had waited a bit longer before I made my fantrailer. I would have used this footage.

-I noticed Peach's side-B doesn't create an explosion. Less weird.
-So the Final Smash item doesn't stay in one place. The scramble for it will be much more fun that way.
-Snorlax is back. Yes, I care. I used to cheer whenever I got him.
-Some of taunts look really awesome. Especially Ike's.

And when I saw that COMING SOON at the end, I died a little inside.

yeah, mostly everyones taunts are cool, there is a lot of good gameplay action which showed me this is still a force to be reckoned with, but everyone I talked with is imensely OBSESED with Sonic in the game. So yeah, apparently there are 2 people now, those who serve to Sonic if he is a deity, and those who loath and feel malaise towards Sonics appearence. Ikes taunt is cool, it looks like he is fed up with something.

I'm happy that they've shown Sonic going to Super Sonic (probably Final Smash). If his Final Smash was anything but that, a few well-placed bricks would be sailing in the general direction of the programmer's windows.

NIce gameplay video, but the "Coming Soon" was a letdown. How can I count down days until a game if I don't know when it's coming? *grumble*
