So, uh...Here's the link to the Dojo, where they'll be telling us about SSBB and stuff...yeah...Oh, and it comes out December 3rd. Uh...on with the discussion! Well, it looks like Toad's probably not gonna be in it, considering Peach can use him as a shield. But maybe they'll surprise us. Maybe. EDIT BY ACE - Merged topics and deleted poll |

I think toad will not be an assist trophy now, but there are still more mario characters that would or could be assist trophys. Ive woundered if Koopa troopa will be a playable character though, but it seams far fetched right now. why are all the pages to these threads for some reason destroyed or cut? |

That's because it's her backwards throw, not her forward B. |

The stickers are fine by me. As long as they don't replace trophies (which I don't think they will). Also, the Poke trainer is growing on me... I am really pumped for Squirtle now. Maybe if we are lucky this means Pichu is dead. |

the pokemon trainer does add stratage, but I just want to smash buttons and attack people with out thinking much, which I thought was the fun of it. Thats because it can range from no to a lot of stratagy but it still was a confusing fray either way. Basiclly im saying I would like things less complicated, and the pokemon trainer's functioning gets in my way. |

Um...if you thought the game didn't really have anything to do with strategy, you sure missed the point. |

well no duh, but you didn't get what I was saying, the pokemon trainer is not a character you can just jump into, to use him you have to absolutely carry strategy out precisely, which I think complicates the fighting to much because regulating all the pokemon's health constantly and how much time they get out. This kind of seems obnoxious and not too fun. I think its a good idea to put a character in that is strategic, but I think they took it too far. the strategy of the game was to battle cleanly, but that gets boreing and I like just jump in and only think about what to do next, not that and babysitting. |

Well, it looks like Toad's probably not gonna be in it, considering Peach can use him as a shield. But maybe they'll surprise us. Maybe. There are a whole race of Toads. In fact, if there were a Toad assist it would probably be of a famous Toad, like Toadette or Toadsworth, not just a generic one. |

It is actually Ash/Red though. My theory is that they don't call it Ash because the alternate costumes are different trainers, like Brendan and Lucas. (omg maybe Gary?) |

Gary was the coolest rival. He was a total jerk and everyone wanted to kill him. Perfect for Brawl. |

his uncle didn't want to kill him, and every one loved him even though he was a jerk, and he never had any of the origional pokemon, I think he had an evee or something like that. |

Well, everyone who watched hated him . And I think Prof. Oak called Gary his nephew in the first pokemon and stuff, but I don't really remember that well.

. And I think Prof. Oak called Gary his nephew in the first pokemon and stuff, but I don't really remember that well.I think that was a minor goof. Anyway, the game calls him his grandson, and the game beats the anime any day anyway. Okay? *shot*

I think there was once a discussion on the Bonus Stage forum that ended with the knowledge that Gary started with Squirtle, and we only see it as Blastoise later on. And if Gary did somehow start with Eevee, so what? Ash started with Pikachu, and he's not a starter (obviously excluding Yellow), and Ash caught the three starters seperately. On the subject of Brawl, why was a recent update just Samus using her whip to grab the edge? Almost everyone knows you can do that already. |

I think it was because you retract the whip(teather or whatever) in melee you only hooked on and you had to jump back up, occassionally that was not helpfull depending where you were |
