I just got it for Christmas (the third one). It's really good but DDR has much better songs. Also, for the Trogdor song, I know it's in the second one but how do you get it? Do you get it from the store or is it already avaible in the game?

Trogdor is in the second one, only. There's no download for it, unfortunately.

And trust me, GH has better songs than DDR you weeaboo.

The Trogdor song is only on the second game, and you use the money you earn in career mode to buy it.

If by better songs you mean utterly terrible derivative Japanese techno that sucks and needs to die, then ohok.

Dude, that's my opinon. I don't hate GH songs, I just like DDR better. There's a handful of songs I like from GH like "Rock and Roll all Night," "Barracuda," and "Slow Ride."

Anyway, my cousin from Mass. has GH2 and I got three stars on TROGDOR! My very first try...on medium I believe.

I'm not even that far yet, but I did kick the crap out of my cousin at the battle for this song on Medium.

One, is very challenging on medium, but Through the Fire and the Flames is like 2 times harder on Med.

UPDATE: I beat One on Medium. And the Lou battle, too.

My friend beat TTFAF on expert.

I just tried the Rock band demo.

I got Black hole sun beat on drums on Expert on my first try.

Not bad.

Did you have an automatic bass pedal or did you have to use it? Let me tell you, the bass pedal adds a whole new dimension of "wow this is hard."

Also someone should probably make a Rock Band thread.

Or at least change the title of this thread.

Yeah, I played rock band for the first time at a friend's house yesterday. The normal drumming was simple, but I just fell apart when I had to use the bass pedal. And that was just on medium. I just can't use my hands and feet in conjunction like that.

I'm just going to get a microphone for the PS2 and this game So I can sing and play guitar at the same time.

This should be easy. I'm a tenor and stuff.

Run to the Hills on drums on hard is impossible.

You better be good looking, singing and playing guitar requires it

I beat my friend on TTFAF on expert. (face-off)
I got 48% of the notes just by mashing in the general position of the frets. :p

I bought my sister Rock Band for her Christmas present, and so I got a chance to play it.

This game only reminds me and makes more certain that the Guitar Solo is dead. The songs were O.K. but me and my sister didn't understand certain things about it, we knew the general gist, but some things we didn't figure out until after a few hours of play.

I rate it at a 6. Its good, but it could have been better.

Amazing. He could 75% the last time I saw him play it. Would that have passed?

Won't Get Fooled Again is definitely the most fun to play on drums in Rock Band.

What could have been better? Honestly, Rock Band is probably the most fun I've had in my life playing a video game, and I can't think of anything in the world that would make it better. But what do you think was so bad about it, other than that you didn't play the tutorial?

The setlist sucked, before most songs there would be these crappy 3d rendered and photoshopped images of emo's pretending to be a band acting like they were on an album cover, Courtney Love, and it was too easy. Plus, once again, it reminded me that the Guitar Solo is dead.

Here's a question is it humanly possible to beat thru the fire and flames or devil went down to Georgia with 100%?

Bleh, it's so hard to get Guitar Hero 3 for the Nintendo Wii during this time of year. Seriously, I've been checking everywhere and it's always sold out. And when I ask an employee when the next shipment will come in they can't tell me because apparently the shipments of Guitar Hero 3 are sporadic. Guess I'm going to have to settle for playing it at my friend's house for now...

I think that Activision is currently fixing a bug in the game that allowed sound to only play in Mono (instead of the advertised Pro Logic II), meaning that they're probably holding back on shipments in order to replace the games of people who already bought it.

EDIT: I believe that the new shipments/replacements come out later this month, though you may want to check a place like IGN for more information on it.

Alright then. Not going to argue with your opinion (even though it's wrong) :p

I just beat Green Grass and High Tides in Rock Band on Expert Guitar today. Wow that solo is hard.
