If Harmonix is smart, it'll have downloadable content. It's more friggin' money for them.

Well, I guess I've saved myself some money.

Seriously now...while I don't say it often, not offering downloadable content, online play (which Guitar Hero 3 had), or compatibility with the Guitar Hero 3 Wii guitars is simply retarded.

EDIT: k, turns out that it'll more than likely be a straight-up PS2 port, meaning that most of the cool features of the game have been lost. Meh.

Anyone with Xbox LIVE wanna play Rock Band (Band Quickplay and/or Ranked anything) around 9pm Pacific Time (12pm Eastern Time)?
Note: I play drums and guitar on expert and I don't really sing.

Harmonix doesn't make the games anymore.

Anyways, something I read on Wikipedia says that some Marty guy that owns some sort of rights to most of the Beatles' songs would be interested in making a Guitar Hero: The Beatles game.

I thought Michael Jackson owned the rights to the Beatles catalogue...

Me too, but apparently some Mart Bender who's an executive at Sony owns copyrights on recording them.

For the record, I really like Rockband and Guitar Hero, however, I am forever stuck on medium.

My friends and I did however get a 53% on TtFaF on expert in practice mode, where two people worked the frets and I worked the strumming. We're so cool, amirite?

Still Alive, Jonathan Coulton's hit from Portal will be a free download for Rock Band, tomorrow on the 360, April 17th on the PS3.

I don't think a Joystiq article is a Rick Roll.

I think he meant that the song would be Never Gonna Give You Up instead of Still Alive.

It's up now, by the way. Vocals are the only fun part though.

I bought the Metallica pack, Buddy Holly, and Still Alive today. I haven't played any of the songs yet though so I don't know if the charts are good or not.

Hey iand, I'll play. I usually do vocals in our band, so yeah, send me a friend request.

MooKoo27 is my Gamertag.

My family and I bought Rock Band several days ago for the 360. I didn't realize that my Gamestop gift cards had so much money on them though (+$70), so my addition to the funds was obviously higher than I wanted.

I seem to be fairly good on the drums, though I've only risked testing my coordination on the Medium level for now. I'll probably move onto Hard after getting through World Tour mode with my folks.

Oh, and after listening to the Limozeen concert from Homestar Runner, I'd seriously pay money to download a song pack containing Trogdor, Nite Mamas, Today is Alright 4 2Nite, and/or Because, It's Midnight.

I have 13 GHIII FCs now, if anyone cares.
Slow Ride, Talk Dirty to Me, Sabotage, Mississippi Queen, Bulls on Parade, When You Were Young, Miss Murder, Anarchy in the UK, Can't Be Saved, Closer, Generation Rock, Metal Heavy Lady, and Radio Song.

I'm close with My Name is Jonas, Reptilia, and Hit Me With Your Best Shot.

Sometimes I have to start over like, ten times. Other songs, like Sabotage, I can just do it once, and get it.

The only song I've been able to FC so far is Mr. Fix-It in GH2. I could probably do more if I really cared and/or tried.

EDIT:

Mmkay. Just so's you know, I won't be able to talk 'cause my headset doesn't work with my guitar or drums.

EDIT2:
I just FC'd In Bloom in Rock Band. I wasn't even trying to. That's how easy that song is.

If anything it'll be in Rock Band 2 or whatever they decide to call it. I don't think Neversoft cares about Homestar Runner.

The head developer is still the same isn't he? And he's an HR fan
But seriously, Neversoft made Guitar Hero die a little bit. They should get back on their skateboards and stay far away from music.
