I've always liked this fake Pikmin 3 box-art. Maybe it's because I like MMO's. Maybe it's because it looks so real.

Pikmin as an RPG?

A MMORPG even?

Gross.

It'd be cool if the next Pikmin game was done in an all-claymation style (like the box art). it would go well with the whole surreal feel of the series.

also, eww, pikmin MMO? somehow I just think that wouldn't work. though online co-op might be cool.

To this day, I have nightmares about the Pikmin 2 final boss. *shudder*

I used most of my Pikmin trying to kill his electric shooter thingy because it kills Pikmin instantly, no whistling them back. When I tried to get another piece of him, he killed enough of my pikmin so that I couldn't carry back the rest of him. I came back and spent half an hour or so beating the stuffing out of the punk. It made me sad that he actually had so little actual health and no other attack.

Louie = spending the rest of his days in the cargo hold before being sold on Ebay...

The way I tackle the guy is one color at a time. First I order my blues ahead while leaving the rest with the president. The water attack is the only one that can hurt your guys hiding away, so its good to take it out first. When he uses it though, stop attacking and switch to the president and whistle like mad so no one drowns.

If he uses an attack that doesn't match your pikmin color, stop attacking and avoid it at all costs, expecially electricity. Once blue is gone, switch them out and attack one at a time. Personally I go in the order: blue, yellow, red, white.

I found the final boss to be nonthreatening due to the fact that most of his attacks were harmless if you mashed whistle

Also I made it to the bottom floor with every one of my pikmin intact. Sometimes I'd just punch enemies to death instead of risking it.

Pikmin DS would not be a bad thing. It could have Phantom Hourglass-style 3D graphics, and the ability to just tap somewhere to chuck a Pikmin there.

I suppose that would work...

I honestly think the Pikmin series is suited to the consoles like wii.

Pikmin wouldn't work in 3D on the DS unless each of your 100 Pikmin were cubes. It'd probably have to be sprite-based.

Yeah I think that Pikmin should stay console. It just suits it.

If Pikmin 3 shows up at E3 this year, I wouldn't be too surprised.

I once thought Pikmin would go well on the DS, but when I saw the Wiimote possibilities (use nunchuck to move, aim and point to throw), I changed my mind.

It better come at E3, if it doesn't I'll be extremely mad except for the fact of other really cool games that'll come out. and sorta sad.
