This is essentially a topic to discuss video games in general, or just games that are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to small for their own topic. Also a place to discuss video game accessories, consoles(except the Wii which has its own topic already), ect. ect.

Rated K-A. Wasn't that the old version of E or something?

Yes. It was originally "Kids to Adults".

Super Mario 64 had the same rating.
3 days later, they changed it.

Hm? The "K-A" rating was changed to "E" in January 1998, nearly a year and a half after Super Mario 64 came out.

This game was incredible; you controlled a microchip that could take control of a bunch of robotic animals. Each animal had a lot of stats tied to them, and each one had two different attack methods. Oh, and the fact that you could control a dog on wheels with missiles strapped to its back was amazing. Did anybody else ever play it?

Hah, I remember that game. Mouse on Mars actually used gameplay footage from it in one of their music videos, which is cool.

I was exaggerating! I meant that it was changed very soon afterwords. Anyway...

I used to love this game so much. I kinda sucked at it, though.

I actually have a Jaguar. Tempest 2000 and AVP were the best games on the system.
Then, there was the worst game on the system.

Anyone ever played the Incredible Machine series?

I remember getting one in the goody bag from some birthday party.

Those games were amazing.

Two questions:
1. Where do you live?
2. GIVE ME THAT JAGUAR

Also, Jaguar + Tempest 2000 = OH GOD IM TRIPPING BALLS

Seriously, I want one. There isn't a good dump of Cybermorph anywhere on the Internet, and Bubsy sucks, can't find other games, and therefore can only play Tempest 2000 on Project Tempest.

But +$100 WTF eBay? Someone better forward me to a cheap system with Cybermorph and/or Tempest 2000.

1. Texas
2. No, well, not without negotiations.
There isn't a good dump of Cybermorph on the internet because it's not a good game. It's annoying. Whenever you take damage, this stupid AI pops up and insults you. Not to mention, the graphics have little to no textures, so it's impossible to differentiate hills from mountians. AGH!
Other games I have:
Kasumi Ninja, Club Drive, Flip Out!, Some weird Whack-A-Mole clone, and Raiden (the best non-Tempest game on the system)

I dunno. It seems like a pretty decent gaWHERE DID YOU LEARN TO FLY?

But seriously, Battlemorph does sound better, but there are around 20,000-50,000 Jaguar CD systems made.

It actually was 64-bit, but Atari had the half-baked idea to integrate the Motorola 68000 on the system for simple housekeeping tasks. However, developers were scared of the new processors the Jag had and stuck to the familiar 68000. It wasn't until late in the system's life did developers decide to use the other processors, but most of those games weren't completed due to the reverse takeover of Atari and the subsequent end of the Jaguar. It's due to the cult following that Jag enthusiasts have kept this system alive, and even completed the much hyped Battlesphere, which spoted great graphics for the system. Believe me, the graphics look at least 32-bit. And yet, BS is claimed to only show 60% of the Jaguar's true potential. Thankfully, due to so many Jaguar hobbyists have developed homebrew games, even for the even rarer JagCD add-on. Oh God, I want that so I can play Battlemorph and Baldies, but I digress.

Also, JagCD + VLM + Tempest 2000 Sountrack CD = OH GOD IM TRIPPIN BALLS IM SO HIGH

Seriously, Tempest 2000 is one of the few video games that seems to be supplemented with psychedelic drugs.

You know, the commercials to those were pretty darn good. Should get a PS3 or something in ten years.

Played it, never beat it. The cool thing is it was made by the same people who now make Grand Theft Auto.

I put in a few cheats to unlock the four different zones in the game. I swear, the boss level to the Jungle Zone is incredible; your robotic chip goes crazy and jumps into a chameleon, which results in you getting in a hunting vehicle (equipped with darts and missiles and such) to try and shoot it and other animals down.

Oh, and the music in the game was awesome.

If a sequel is ever made for it, I hope Take Two puts it out on a Nintendo console.

Has anyone here ever heard of Rez? It's one of those really bizarre, but great, games released on the dreamcast. It eventually got ported to the PS2, and now you can pick it up (in HD) on the Xbox Live Arcade.
I may just pack together a set of the ooooold one for y'all...

Any vibrating gaming accessory can be used in a number of ways.
