k Trauma Center.
I played Under the Knife and liked it. A lot.
The Wii versions of Trauma Center were cool but it just wasn't the same experience.
So I'm waiting on Under the Knife 2.
You play Trauma Center?

You do surgery with the Wiimote/stylus.

I own the original DS version of the game, and it was quite fun for the first several chapters. However, late into the game, I came to the conclusion that there was no chance in the world that I could solve the final cases without pulling my hair out.

It is a pretty difficult game. I picked it up again on the Wii, and I'll probably purchase the second version for the DS later in the year.

The final case is crazy.
After I beat Savato the first time, I was like "OH YES IT'S FINALLY OVER."
But I was wrong. I have to get it out of the little kid.

Well I know its about surgery but I was wondering about the set up. I see you mention cases, how does that work?

Throughout the game, you will be given several patients. The patient's conditions are called "cases."
In the beginning of the game, most of the cases are tumors and polyps. The further you get into the game, the harder the cases get. The main condition you're fighting is called GUILT, and you receive a lot of cases about that.
lol
Maybe I should explain the tools too...
Yes, let me do that.
I'll do Under the Knife, that's what I remember best.
Laser: Used to burn away certain objects, like polyps.
Antibacterial Gel: Used before making incisions, to get a cardiac boost, and to meld synthetic membranes on.
Suction: For removal of liquid obstruction.
Tweezers (that's what I'll call them): Used to apply synthetic membrane and to remove certain foreign obstructions.
Hand/Healing Touch: Used to meld synthetic membrane and to massage necessary parts. Healing Touch slows things down for a period of time.
Ultrasound/Magnification: Used to find hidden objects/Used to get a closer look at things.
Scalpel: I think we all know what this does. It is used to make incisions.
Sutures: Used to stitch incisions.
Syringe: Used to inject sedative and other solutions.
Bandage: Used to cover incision.

I have Under the Knife. Never finished. Got to one of the very last impossible GUILT cases.

The triangle (Tritari strain) thing is so easy if you do it the wrong way.
All you have to do is
Spoiler wrote:
Enter Healing Touch, pull out all the thorns, and cut blindly through all the dotted lines, then remove the triangles.

That easy.

I played the Wii version, Second Opinion or something. It was a lot of fun, I thought. Very cool. But good god did I hate that lung virus so much.

But don't you get a ton more points and a better rank without Healing Touch?

Yes, but when it comes down to completion vs. rank, completion always wins.

Just started playing Trauma Center about a month ago. I got New Blood. I'm stuck on the part where you have to operate on like four or five people in ten minutes.
