Tommorrow, I'll be going to an eb games, so sell all my anime dvds and some of my gamecube games to buy a wii. That is, if one is in stock.

It's actually just going to cost me just over $200. I have a membership there, so when I sell them something for store credit, I get 10% more, and when I buy something, I pay 10% less. If I have 200 dollars worth of dvds/gc games, I'll actually get $220. Also, because of the member discount, I'll only pay $225 for the wii.

I'm selling about 30 dvds (Including box sets, and whatnot), and like 6 or 7 gamecube games. I'm also bringing my gamecube so sell since wii can play gamecube games. I dont think I'll be online with it most of the time. I think I'll just hook it up once to download some virtual console games, then unhook it. Hopefully, I'll have enough money for a classic controller, some wii points, and whatever else.

Soooo....what games does everyone have here? I have Zelda, ExciteTruck, Wii Sports, and WarioWare. No VC games yet, sadly. I haven't been able tofind any Wii Points cards, and I'd rather not mess with my Mom's credit cards.

Gah, WiiSeeker changed for the crappier, guess I'll just have to get somebody to drive me to Walmart and Target sometime. Although lately, I haven't cared about it as much.

I got the new Sonic game! Its the best one in years.

It's really starting to get old with some games. It's one thing for a game like excitetruck. You hold it like a sterring wheel. That makes sense. But other games are just doing some seriously stupid things with the controller.

Four Swords was awesome.

You don't need four GBAs/cables to play multiplayer, You can play with 2 or 3.

You need the Gba so each player can move about independantly from each other.

And you only get the GBA screen on Single player if you Aren't using a GBA controller.

Yeah, it's fun, but it will eventually be overused. I wanna see some more games that are pure fun without any gimmicks. I dont want the wii to become like the DS.

I said $200 worth, because if I had taken my dvds across the hall to FYE, then I would have only gotten about $200 from the trade ins. Then I would have to spend $250 on the wii. I got a Wii Points Card for Christmas, and the very instant I used them all, MK64 came out for the Virtual Console. sigh gets out 20 dollar bill My Virtual Console games are Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Pinball, and Wario's Woods. My Wii games are only Wii Sports and Twilight Princess. Why does it seem appropriate to italicize NES games but not Wii games?

It's one thing for a game like excitetruck. You hold it like a sterring wheel. That makes sense. But other games are just doing some seriously stupid things with the controller. It's just like how when ds came out, most of the games required you to touch the screen, even at times that could have easily been replaced by a button, saving you time. "OMFG! Spyro, a rock. You cant ram it like in all the other spyro games. You have to take out your sylus and tap it!" It was the same way with the gamecube/GBA linkup system thing. There were so many dumb gimmicks. I know that, but there still is no reason for it to be a gameboy screen. It is just a cheap marketing ploy within a game.

I dont want the wii to become like the DS. i agree with you righ tther eon that point,i was wii games that are just fun and you dont have to do all the stupid things with the wii controller....because i havent found any really good wii games, i want to buy an xbox 360, for my everyday gaming needs..
