So a game that has most of the elements of its predecessors in a slightly-different genre isn't part of the main series? Adventure and platforming aren't too different (definitely not as different as other "spinoff" game genres). Anyway, Prime 3 keeps getting better and better; the motion controls are so awesome. I need to figure out what to do with the sun though, as its reflection into a mirror behind my TV sometimes screws up the aiming with the Wii Remote. |

The newer Mario games (Sunshine and Galaxy) are also Adventure games with platforming elements, but they're still Mario games. I'd put them in the same category relating to Mario as I'd put Prime relating to Metroid. They're slightly different than the rest of the series, but still a full-fledged part of the series. |

Prime three owns. Hey, in the first level, did anyone shoot a friendly person three times or more? I did, and a turret came out of the ceiling telling me to stand down in a nice, user-compatible voice. |

Eh. I think it only does that on the command bridge. But the turret is easy to kill. Also, you can scan it and add it to your logbook if you are one of those completionists. |

I prefer the mini-game you can play right from the first ship docking place in the game. To the right of the bridge is a little game that lets you shoot space things (attempting to keep them up in the air) for medals and achievements. |

So I bought me one of them Wii things this week. It's pretty cool. Wii Sports is awesome. I give it 4 out of 5 "Eh Steves!"
But don't know what else to get for it at this point. I bought Super Paper Mario, but that was disappointing. It was just too weird for my taste. I'm going to trade it in with some Playstation 3 games today. Any suggestions on what I should get in return? |

I disliked Super Paper Mario because it was far too easy and the Ninja tourny part almost put me in a coma. |

While I also disagree about disliking Super Paper Mario, that's not the issue at hand. So to answer your question, if you have a Wii but lack Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3, you suck. |

![]() dose any one have a printable map of hyrule, like the one that comes in the box? It's called GameFAQs. But considering you ask for video game help on everything, I guess you haven't heard of it. |

I decided to peruse the Most Popular Titles section of the Virtual Console shop. First on the list was Super Mario Bros., but since I already have Super Mario Bros. Deluxe on the Game Boy Color, I decided to pass on that. Second on the list was Paper Mario for the N64. I've heard good things about that game, so I downloaded it. It's a very interesting game, I like it. |

I was recently replaying through LOZ:TP, I noticed that the kids in it were pretty ugly, in my opinion, especially they baby. I think that it seems that way because Nintendo was trying to Get on a more actual Human-like sort of character design for most of the people, which I kinda lthought was interesting and for a majority I liked, and even thouhg the kids are ugly, it sort of made a decent and reflective enviorment for you character. By the way Has anyone else preordered SSBB yet? |

Really weird Virtual Console update... Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels, but it's only available until the end of September and costs 100 extra points. Anyone know why? Is it like this in the USA as well? |

Hmm. I bought it, because it was limited offer and I thought I didn't have it already. But Wikipedia says that it's included on the GBC game as well. I guess I haven't unlocked it yet. Oh well. At least I have a limited offer Virtual Console game on my Wii. That's gotta count for something, right? ...The Lost Levels are hard. I can't get past world 1-4. I'll try again... and again... and again. |

Yeah, I know the story about the Lost Levels and Doki Doki Panic. By the way, is Super Mario Bros. 2 actually any good? Should I download it, too? |

Except that the gameboy version wasnt the original. It was a dumbed down version, with crappy graphics and sound. |

It was a dumbed down version, with crappy graphics and sound. As far as I can tell, the Game Boy Color game sounds exactly like the NES, and th graphics are pixel-perfect copies of the NES games, too. But anyway, my brother decided to download the original anyway, and you know what? It's terrible. The graphics are squashed and the music runs too quickly. The gameplay is perfectly fine, though. I guess it has something to do with PAL conversion or something? The Lost Levels runs properly, probably because it never had a PAL version as it was only released in Japan. |

IF you want to get Super Mario Bros 2 (Doki Doki Panic version) get it for the Gameboy Advance, its like 5 bucks now, and its the upgraded Super Mario All Stars version, upgraded again. But if you dont have a Gameboy Advance, go buy the Wii version. Their both great. |
