Alright: Must haves for Wii that are Out now:

Zelda
Metroid

Anything else? My Wii's getting lots of dust here.

Not must haves, but good games that are worth playing include Excite Truck, WarioWare, and Super Paper Mario.

Well, if you wait two weeks, Battalion Wars 2 comes out. But for now, I would suggest Mario Strikers Charged. It's a pretty awesome game as far as Mario sport titles go. Plus I've heard the online play is good.

This is real.

Here's a joystiq article for the Vii.

Anyways, I got Metroid for my birthday, and I'm in the process of going through it. I love it so far, and would recommend it to anybody considering it.

Since I finally got around to buying the Wii, this post was made solely on my Wii.

Whoo?

Also I just downloaded Super Mario Bros. Haven't played it before, though, so I fail.

...Ughh, is anyone aware of a less tedious way to type than the strenuous, carpal-tunnel inducing on-screen keyboard?

Quite so, BTG.

Gonna have to download a lotta stuff to get up-to-date with all the classics and whatnot.

You've never played Super Mario Bros before? I wasn't aware that was possible.

Also: I think a current Wii update lets you plug in a keyboard from a port, but I'm not sure.

I have downloaded:

Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario 64
Paper Mario
Legend of Zelda
Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time

I plan to download:
Metroid
Mario Kart 64
SMB2: The Lost Levels
Kid Icarus
Sonic the Hedgehog

Umm...That right there adds up to 3200 points. I need more cards.

I think you're right. If my memory serves me right, someone just mentioned this last week.

It was an integral part of grade 3.

I want to point out that to my knowledge I've never played Super Mario Bros. either. But I have played Yoshi's Island and seen the ending (gigantic baby bowser = best thing ever) so that counts for something.

Let's talk about Super Mario Galaxy.

The intro of the game or something. Watch it. Watch it now.

Orchestral music confirmed.

Game trailers.

Oh God I want this so much.

This game has suddenly tripled in awesomeness. I can't wait to play it.

EDIT: I spoke too soon. This has to be one of the greatest video games I have ever seen.

I preordered it out of loyalty to the Mario brand, without doing any research whatsoever into whether it'd be a worthy game or not. You know, because if you have a Nintendo you HAVE TO have the main Mario game for it. It's the law or something.

And now, proof the people who make these laws really do know what's best for us.

Of course we do. We're the Government.

When Holly moves in (or at least when she drops off the Wii at my place), I'll probably check it out.
After all, it is a game Mario (and not a gimmicky, "let's put mario in a game where he doesn't belong" type game), so it's gotta be good, right?

Huh.....I'm almost positive you said that earlier...Odd.

Anyways, there's a lot of games out there, aside from the Retro games that are worth the buy.

It's odd. I remember you posting that either yesterday, or late Friday. This isn't the first time this has happened to me either...

Anyways, yeah, the Wii is definitely worth every penny that I paid for it. The new games, the Retro games, it's all worth it.

Post subject:  What to download?

I can't decide which game I should get on the Wii Virtual Console! I want to...
A-Download Super Mario Bros. 3 right now, or...
B-Wait for Super Mario RPG.
What do I do? ONLY ANSWER IF YOU'VE PLAYED BOTH!!!!!

EDIT:Nevermind. I already got SMB3.

Sup guys, I played the actual Mario Galaxy at GameCrazy yesterday. It was fun, but confusing cause I didn't know what I was supposed to do, but still fun. I beat the guy at the stores record at this race type thing, lol it was fun and the way the camera changes was interesting.

No one's really entirely sure if Mario RPG is going on the Virtual Console. Get Mario Bros 3. If RPG comes out, it won't be for a while, and you'll have had plenty of time to save up more money.

Everybody who owns a Wii needs to buy Zack and Wiki NOW. If you don't, I will come to your house and take your Wii. Not really, but if you don't buy it, you don't deserve to own a Wii.

But we can't. :(

Five more days....

I played Super Mario Galaxy at Gamestop several days ago, and I must say that I am glad that I preordered the game. However, the employees haven't been told about the preorder bonus yet (the collectible coin), which is kind of strange. If I don't get that coin... >: (

I also watched a guy play the last 8 stars of the game and [spoiler!]play as Luigi[/spoiler!] via a streaming site, and that just increased my hype tenfold.

Oh, and now my Virtual Console collection stands at:
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros 2 (Japan version)
Super Mario Bros 3
Super Mario World
Wario's Woods
The Legend of Zelda
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Super Metroid
Street Fighter II (Nintendo had to go and release a better version a couple weeks after I bought it...)
Galaga '90
Wave Race 64
F-Zero X

No, I haven't beaten any of them. :(

Um, No. Zack and Wiki is amazing and needs to be bought now. Galaxy can wait a week.
