If only Nintendo was as creative as this guy, then Wii would be the best system ever.

Nintendo needs to hire this man and give him a big stipend to continue his work.

ALSO: what is No More Heroes?

Heroes is the new game by that guy that made Killer7.

You play as Travis, who is Simutaniously the Coolest and Nerdiest videogame charter ever made. He has a lightsaber, and depending on what angle you have the Wii remote at, He'll do different attack with it. The game has a "Free-roaming around a city and get quests" sort of thing going.

You can buy Anime figureines to decorate your room. Buying video tapes upgrades your abilites, For example Wrestling movies give you new attacks, and watchign pronz increases your stamina (9/10 chance that'll get removed from American version). You can play with your kitten with Wiimote, and you Save your game by using Toilets.

Check out The official website, Especially the special section. There's like a million short videos there.

Where'd you hear this?

Also, if it is true I don't think it will be edited. It got a D rating in Japan, which is about the equivalent of an M rating here. If it showed any so called "pronz", It would of gotten a Z rating, which is the equivalent of our AO. The American version also has blood, and the Japanese version does not.

Also the plot has something to do with assassins and stuff, right?

Yeah. Travis finds a "beam katana" and kills the assassin ranked #11, Helter Skelter. Now, he's apart of this organization and he has to rise the ranks to get to #1. That's all I know.

We need to star a list of those who have GH3 for wii, so we can battle each other ect. I'll start the list.

There's a GH3 code you have to use instead of the Wii code if you wanna play that against friends. Go into the Nintendo WFC thing in GH3, make a username, then go to the Friends Roster and it'll show your GH3 code at the top of that. I put my code in the GH3 thread somewhere, but it's probably been buried by now.

So I finally got me one of these things. So far the only game I have is Balls of Fury (because Wii Sports doesn't have ping pong in it) and it's pretty awesome.

Tennis is really fun. Boxing is intense, too, and I keep on just facing this black guy that looks like Apollo Creed over and over again. Golf is good when you get the hang of it. Rest are okay.

Pretty much my opinion on Wii Sports, too. Though I was pretty good at golf from the start.

Wii Sports was brilliant.

  • I am great at Bowling.
  • I can dominate the computers in Boxing (I think my pro graph went off the screen) but I'm not that good against real people.
  • I'm pretty good at Tennis, fun game.
  • I suck at baseball.
  • I almost never play golf.

"Rest" being baseball. :p

My opinions, listing them in order of favoriteness!

> Bowling is a huge blast, expecially with one or two friends with you. The scores it desires to keep increasing your pro points can be pretty nasty from time to time. <PRO>
> Tennis is pretty fun as well, although being unable to directly control your people can get annoying sometimes when you lose and it really isn't your fault. Fun to tackle COMs against and great fun when you have three friends over. <PRO>
> Baseball has quite a bit of a learning curve, but now that I've conquered it it's a pretty fun game. Even once you master the swing, the variety of evil pitches keeps things interesting. Sometimes the luck-based nature of the CPU teammates can get annoying though.
> Boxing isn't nearly as responsive as it should be, but it can still get pretty intense and fun expecially with a human opponent. There is actually a bit of strategic play to be found here, but the less-than-perfect controls get in the way. <PRO>
> Golf... I found it worthwhile enough to check it out once, but it didn't really have to much replay value. The controls aren't perfect, and I just don't like golf much. Putting properly took a while to figure out.

I still can't putt right. It takes me at least 15 practice swings each time before I'm ready to actually hit it

For some reason, in tennis, I've recently lost the ability to swing on the left. It always registers a right swing. Not sure why, I never really had trouble before (considering a made it to pro before this happened)

Wait, is it possible to play Wii Sports online?

Also I'm <pro> in tennis, baseball, and bowling.

Especially tennis. I'm a MONSTER at that; I got over 2000.

I can't pitch for crap in baseball though. At higher levels people hit at least a double every time off of me no matter what I do. Also, I can't figure out how to pitch a ball to the left or to the right of the plate.

No. and I suggest that we get our GH code together and make a tournament or something.

To throw to the left or right of the plate, press the correspondin directions on the D-Pad. Up and down seem to do something as well, but I can't tell exactly what.

To throw fastballs, pitch normally. Holding A will to curveballs, holding B will do screwballs (or the other way around, don't really remember) and holding both A and B will do splitters.

The actual pitching motion seems to only effect speed.

You can toggle side arm pitching and regular by hitting 1, or 2. I am a Wii Sports Baseball Guru.

Come one. Freaking everybody knows this.

Actually, if you flick your wrist relatively hard, you don't even have to move your arm, and you'll get close to 99.

You call yourself a guru and somebody explained something to you.

I'm officially setting up that multi-touch interface thing on my desktop.

Now I just need a bluetooth adapter, and some infrared LEDs.

And some pens wide enough to fit a AAA battery. To grammar nazis: "a AAA battery" is actually grammatically correct if you say "triple-A" rather than "A, A, A"

I have played and beaten Super Mario Galaxy on my brother's Wii over the past few days, and I deem it an excellent game.
