Guess what? Club Nintendo members in Japan not only get the Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack, but they also get a SNES-style Wii controller.

There's a word I'd like to say about the Japanese, but it'd be violating the rules.

Oh, well, now we wait for the rip. I mean, completely legal online soundtrack download.

You can already get rough rips from the game itself from here, but they aren't of the best sound quality due to sound effects interfering with the overall song.

I have the first one for PS2 and if they're anything alike then I completely agree.

If you're into precision, I'd really recommend Mercury: Meltdown Revolution to all of you. It is only $20 and loads of fun; a great deal for the video game. Watching your blob of mercury move around is also really amusing.

When ARE they going to release The Majora's Mask and Super Smash Bros. on the VC?

When they want to.

Sometimes I think that Nintendo doesn't even want to think about their Virtual Console releases for the week. I just hope that a few significant ones come out before WiiWare becomes popular.

Rented Super Mario Galaxy. Is good.

Only thing I don't like is spherical worlds. Just takes some getting used to.

Sure, why not.

Anyways, I'm also looking to buy WiiPlay to get a second Wiimote and a game cheap. Is it good, anybody?

Eh, it's okay. It might be better to play regularly with a group of people; it's basically a $10 game with a $40 Wii Remote attached to it, but it is fun. I like its take on Pong, the Target Practice, and Tanks.

Also, buy Super Paper Mario if you haven't already.

Yeah Wii Play is alright. I bought it mostly because I needed another Wii remote and because I wanted to expand my game collection. The games are pretty fun but you can't do much else other than play them. It's not like Wii Sports where you can advance levels and go into training or fitness tests. But it's really fun to go head-on-head with a friend if you're bored. I personally like Charge!, Tanks!, Pool and Table Tennis.

Oh and DS_Kid... when you say "its take on Pong" are you referring to Laser Hockey?

Yes; the name eluded me for a moment, but it still technically is Pong with smaller goals and prettier graphics.

Wii Play's okay. I'm glad I bought it because now I have two Wiimotes...but, uhm, that's really it.
I played it for a while after I got it, and every once in a while when I have family over, I'll break it out. But other than that, it's not something I really play.

Yay! I finished part one on Fire Emblem.

So my verdict is that, while it's incredibly similar to the last one, as they always are, it's better. It's like Fire Emblem 2.0. I definitely recommend it. It really is phenomenal.

I always find it ironic that people can seriously criticise anyone for taking a game too serious on a forum based around an in-depth encyclopedia on a random web cartoon. :p I admit that that guy seems to go a bit off the deep end, but I just hear phrases similar to this a lot here. :homsar:

Except, y'know, most of the people rarely even use the wiki, let alone edit it.

Have you Wii players seen the new Wii Hack? The one where that one smart Asian guy took the remote set it up on the desk and moved the bar around turning everything 3-d? Friggin' sweet!! Watch it! Its amazing, I think this guy could put out better games than an entire developer studio team.

If your talking about the head tracking, well, I think this is old news. Cough.

But, yeah. They could make awesome games using Head Tracking. Like more realistic shooters. It could possibly be better being used in first person shooters where rather than looking around by pointing the Wiimote to the screen, you simply look around with your own head. Or if the glasses aren't involved, then I guess they could use the same way of looking around, only you could look around faster than usual. I find that most FPS on the Wii and other consoles have that problem of trying to look behind you, but you can't turn around fast enough the speed you want the character to.

Bought WiiPlay. Is ok.

So what other games should I look into buying? So far, I know that Super Mario Galaxy is good. Here's from what I can remember from a list I wrote on it.

Super Mario Strikers
The new NIGHTS game
There's another Mario game somewhere in here

That's all I remember off the top of my head.

Let's see...

Mario Galaxy is amazing, probably the best Wii game I've played yet.

Metroid Prime 3 is ballin', from what I've heard.

SSBB, of course, when it comes out.

Super Mario Galaxy
Mercury: Meltdown Revolution (great $20 deal)
Zack and Wiki
Geometry Wars: Galaxies
Metroid Prime 3
Godfather: Blackhand Edition (if you haven't played the games before; great use of Wii control)

-and when they come out:
No More Heroes
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
WiiWare games
