Heh, don't I wish. It's actually a screw-up on their part. If you read the product description you'll see what I mean.

I am annoyed with the City in the Sky, but the only thing preventing me from totally despising it is the fact I know that the double hookshot is in here somewhere... -_-"

I think that was one of the harder areas in the game for me; I especially despised the boss fight due to how annoying it could become. The area is pretty fun though, and the double hookshot is a neat item.

The Wind temple was the most frustrating of all of them. I hated it.
And I didn't like the Wii version of Twilight Princess compared to the Gamecube one, just my opinion.

There are a lot of areas that they could have improved on, but it was simply a quick-port. I enjoy being able to aim with the IR control, but actions such as sword swings should be accurate.

There's loads of potential in the next Zelda game with the help of the Wii Remote and the Wii's added hardware capabilities. Here's some of the things that I've posted about on other boards before for what I'd like to see in Zelda Wii:
  • Combine a Hyrule Field-esque setting with ocean travel; have two or three large islands, tens of tinier islands, and a large ocean to still travel in.
  • Combine the art styles from Wind Waker and Twilight Princess together; have a semi-real art style with outlines on items, like in the concept art for TP.
  • Have tons of nooks and crannies to explore in, and have decent rewards in many of them (no plain rupees or heart pieces...)
  • More side-quests
  • Some motion controls reminiscent of the Twilight Princess demo at E3 2006; i.e. to use arrows, you would aim at a spot on the screen by holding down a button, pull back the Wii Remote, then release the button you were using to aim.
  • New motion controls, such as sword swings that follow the general direction of your Wii Remote swing.
  • The ability to control the shield with the tilt of the nunchuck.
  • Make more use of items outside of the dungeons they were found in.
  • Have more suits/tunics, towns, villages, and items to buy in shops.
  • Make it harder, or add difficulty levels.
Of course, this is all just wishful thinking, and half of it will probably not make it into the game. Do any of you want to see some specific features in the next Zelda Wii game?

Yes, the skateboard was the worst item ever.
And outside the Wind Temple, the Double Clawshot is pretty useless, except to get a few Piece of Hearts…

I very much like the Double Hookshot. Even with minimal usage outside the wind temple, it's worth it just having them equipped and walking around as Lobsterlink.

  • Not give you a miniscule wallet size (which can only be enlarged to full potential after much difficulty), give you piles and piles of cash, almost nothing to buy, and then make it so if your money is maxed out you "put the rupees back" in chests. Drives a completionist mad. :-|

I'd always end up wasting a few minutes draining my rupees with that suit so I could empty out the next 200-rupee chest.

Not having any wallet restrictions whatsoever and having plenty of things to buy in Phantom Hourglass was strangely and wonderfully refreshing.

For some reason, I read that as "Have Tom Nook and..."

Tom Nook in a Zelda game... hmmm... :p

By being in the bubble that is college and unintentionally clever internet navigation, I've missed most of the hype and point of NMH. Somebody please pm me as to why I should be excited ^^;;

Hey, this sort of thing happens =\

Heroes is the new game by that guy that made Killer7.

You play as Travis, who is Simutaniously the Coolest and Nerdiest videogame charter ever made. He has a lightsaber, and depending on what angle you have the Wii remote at, He'll do different attack with it. The game has a "Free-roaming around a city and get quests" sort of thing going.

You can buy Anime figureines to decorate your room. Buying video tapes upgrades your abilites, For example Wrestling movies give you new attacks, and watchign pronz increases your stamina (9/10 chance that'll get removed from American version). You can play with your kitten with Wiimote, and you Save your game by using Toilets.

Yeah, I got a Wii for Christmas. I like it a lot. And Super Mario Galaxy has to be the greatest game of all time.

This is what happens when you take vidyas seriously.

I always find it ironic that people can seriously criticise anyone for taking a game too serious on a forum based around an in-depth encyclopedia on a random web cartoon. :P

Not a lot of our users even care about the Wiki.

Its an ugly fact that some people won't accept, but it's true. We haven't had a Wiki discussion here in quite a long time.

Hrwiki is much more serious business than this forum.

Get the Original Super Mario Brothers, and either the first Legend of Zelda, or Kirby's Adventure.

Stop right there.

Go back and buy an SNES, and get Super Mario All Stars, Super Mario Worlds 1 and 2, and Kirby's Super Star. And that's just for starters.

Wait - Yoshi's Island is Super Mario World 2?

How did I manage to play that game and not realize that...?

I'm not entirely sure...the title is technically Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

On a related note, how did I manage staring at the shelf that as all of the boxes to the SNES games all these years and not notice that there are two Yoshi's Island boxes on it? Why is there only one cartridge? Where's the second cartridge? Is it rotting in prison while its twin reigns as the king of France?

No wait, I'm that happens the book The Man in the Iron Mask.

:)

Hey, I finally beat Twilight Princess last night!

I'm so slow at this :)

(Yeah, but I've beaten almost everything. Only two bugs and four heart pieces and I'm golden)

Buhh, I could take Red Steel more seriously if the story didn't fail so much and if it wasn't so cheesy. It seems so...I dunno.
