So....

My friend, Shane, got in the line for the Wii at 10:00 P.M. Then, at midnight, they were all "AY SRY WE CAN ONLY GIVE EM TO YOU AT 10 IN THE MORNING FOR AN UNDISCLOSED REASONS."

Shane had to wait there for twelve hours. At 6 A.M., some guy came up and told him that at the local Target, some guy had gotten gunned down for his Wii. Shane felt a little frightened, but held on to his Nintendo fanboy devotion for four more hours, so that he could die with a Wii.

Well, he did get the Wii and escaped the gunshots, and this evening I got to play it when he came over to my house with it. The Sports Tennis is hecka fun, but Twilight Princess was sorta boring.

Yeah.

Only one more day to wait until I get my Wii, only one more day, one more day...

*rocks back and forth*

Ow, I think just got an ulcer.

I went to Target at 6 AM today, and I must say that the Wii was worth the 2 hour wait in the cold. I picked up Excite Truck, The Legend of Zelda, and an extra Wiimote to complement the Wii's greatness. I played Wii Sports all morning, and my dad loved it (especially Bowling), though I must admit that boxing isn't all too great.

Excite Truck is also awesome, and I'm in the process of playing the Legend of Zelda right now. For some reason I'm stuck in the first village...I should probably restart the game.

Sooooo freaking lucky. I wish I could get my hands on one.

... It's not going to be compatible with Gameboy Player.

I jad a dream that I walked into Best Buy and got the Wii and Twilight Princess, and then I got home and played TP for hours. *sigh* :((

tomorrow is black thursday and my dad and i are planning to go up to my local eb games and see if we can grab a wii. it said in the flyier then got a shipment of them and TP in...so yeah..also 2 gig mem card for psp is 40 bucks..yay

Ugh... I can't find that kid that chased the monkey at the beggining of the game. Ya know, in the first village? I'm in that foggy place that you go to after you go through that one tunnel that's really dark. Friggin' closed gate... X-(

I'm HOPING only one more week until I get mine. I'm on a list; I'm number 18, and I just pray that Tuesday's shipment gives the Wal*Mart I'm on the list on gets at least 18 Wii's.

If it makes you feel any better, when I first played Zelda 64: Ocharina of Time, I actually got stuck in the first village for hours and hours on end.. I could not find the sword!!! lol

It's more or less replaced my old GBA, because it can play stuff on the big screen! And it's so much nicer with old GB games, because you don't have to squint at the screen or deal with color distortion.

Yeah, and I have an old GBC MegaMan game that I can only play on GBP, as I only have a DS and a GCN. Oh, and the game is Dr. Wile's Revenge, in case you're wondering.

My sister, brother, and I all live in different houses. My sister lives in tucson and my brother in tempe. I played bowling, tennis, and golf. And I think they're pretty fun. They kinda wear you out though. I watched my sis play twilight princess a little. It takes a while to get used to the wiimote. It's quite different from the traditional controller.

I know this one guy at a hip-hop forum who says the Wii is "kiddie" and "the poor man's PS3." He's a cool dude, but c'mon, this guy's got gaming backwards. He's an aspiring rapper, who lives a clean, suburban life, so I suppose he just uses M-rated video games as a form of braggadocio seperate from big pimpin' and packin' a tech nine. Really, he practically rates games on how cool they look or how violent they are. He even discredits Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 because the violence is "cartoony" as he says, and claims that "nobody cares about" Super Smash Bros. Melee and Metroid Prime. He also recommends Leap Frog games to Nintendo gamers. This guy's an example of the opposite of a hardcore gamer. More like a hardcore lamer! At least he raps just as good as any mainstream cat.
