This is something I'd like to know, too.

Also, is Excite Truck good? It seems like a pretty mediocre racing game, but I haven't tried it so I can't judge it.

I heard that it was a good game and it worked well, but it really didn't advance the genre. But don't go by me.

It got good reviews, but I havn't played it either, DS_Kid liked it. I heard that it was a good racing game, and the Wiimote makes it better...I really need to play these games, than I can give a first-hand account.

Also, GameInformer gave Twilight Princess the 2006 Game of the Year Award, w00t.

I've played both games and in my opinion: Red Steel sucks and Excite Truck is the best game in ever. But now I'm gonna try and say it less baised-like.

Red Steel takes a while to get the controls and the graphics aren't very good (at least, they aren't very good in the cinimatics or multyplayer). I didn't get a chance to play 1-player at my friend's house so I can't comment on that.

As for Excite Truck, I think it's great. It has a great frame rate and the graphics are awsome. The conrtols are a bit hard at first, but you get used to them really quickly (or at least I did). It's one of those games you'll want to play a lot.

I don't have Red Steel yet, but I can say that Excite Truck is awesome.

Sadly, the multiplayer in it is a bit lacking, mainly because it is really annoying to me that the splitscreen is divided vertically for the game instead of horizontally like most other games. For some reason, I can't really "see" the environment around me in that situation.

However, the single player is a blast, and you'll have fun shooting your truck at insane speeds hundreds of feet in the air. I find it really hilarious that when a truck is in an area that's about to shift upward, it'll fly high into the air as if you tossed a toy car above your head.

Overall, I'd give it a 7.5/10, mainly for the lack of multiplayer features and a bit of a lacking single player (I really wish that they had the time to add in a track editor).

Just to let you all know.
There has been a recall of all Wiimotes WORLDWIDE.
Look here to see if you have a new model or an old model, and how to get an official replacement form.

That's because it deserves it. It definitely is living up to its hype. Being a fanboy, I am ashamed to admit this, but it is far superior to Ocarina of Time.

P.S. This is post #667. Props to Soce for getting the lucky number.

That's only because people are too stupid to realize they don't have to wave the Wiimote at full strength to get a response from the game.

EDIT: It's not a "recall".
Quote:
Nintendo just called to let us know that the replacement program is entirely voluntary, and does not constitute a "recall". That means Nintendo apparently doesn't think it's a risk for most people, but if you do you can feel free to get that Wiimote strap. Nintendo issued this statement: "Nintendo has a long tradition of delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. The Wii Remote is meant to be gripped, and the wrist straps are a secondary measure. We have found that some consumers get more excited playing Wii Sports than we could have imagined. This resulted in a very small number of wrist straps breaking. We have replaced the broken wrist straps and continue to reinforce with consumers the safe and fun use of our products. Through its voluntary wrist strap replacement program Nintendo is offering a stronger wrist strap free of charge to consumers by calling 1-800-859-4519 or by visiting support.nintendo.com."

Well, the Wii is gone from my house. It's owner took it away and most likely has it at home now.

By the time it'll be back... he would've beaten Twilight Princess!

I don't think the penguin has a sword... I think that's part of the thing behind it.

Yay, I got Elebits today! It is so fun to turn a clean house into a dirty house in about 3 minutes. The red elebits are awesome as well, mainly because they cry every time you do something near them.

I must recommend that if you buy the game, turn the volume down during the cutscenes though...it'll do your eardrums a favor. Seriously, those voices are horrible (and embarrassing to listen to if others are near you) after 15 seconds.

Attention all Red Steel Players: For some reason, the aiming will be Really jittery if you don't turn the wiimote's volume down to zero.
