December 22, 2006, for those that didn't know, is the scheduled release date of the browser for the Wii. |

Actually, it is free to download until the summer of 2007. So if you download it before then, you won't have to pay for it unless you buy a new Wii, or something. |

Note to self: Buy Wii before June 2007. 500 Wii points is cheap, but it's not cheap as free! I love the Wii displays. They're soo glowy and hypnotic... |

Now for my friends sad Wii tale. He wanted a Wii for his birthday, and his dad is saying "Oh no, the remote strap is breaking and hurting everyone's TVs, Xbox360 is way safer". Course, my friend rebutted with all the best arguments; -You have to throw the remote at mach 10 for it to break -Just because some idiots hurt themselves doesn't mean it's defective. Is a computer mouse defective if someone breaks it by slamming it with their fist when a soft click would do? -All new models have a double-sized strap -If you get one without a double-sized or it breaks, you will get a replacement. Even after hearing these flawless arguments, his dad insisted on buying a system for him he didn't want. The only reason my friend's dad is buying it for him is because he [The Dad] wanted an Xbox. I call Bull upon this birthday Present. |

Yay! I gots me a Wii! Of course, I had to camp out in front of Best Buy last Saturday night, and I got a cold, but it was worth it. Y'know, Ediran and I played Wii sports for hours, and we never even put any pressure on the strap, let alone enough to make it break. Like, those people must have been a tad overaggressive. It's kind of hard to let go of the remote accidentally. Is there a way to get game points other than buying them? The browser's going to cost points? Ew. Does anyone know when they're going to start putting, um, better games on the virtual console? |

Well, in europe you can do something where you register your Nintendo Products on their website and you get free points. I hate you Europe. Also, I think that they're planning on sending out a bunch of Wii points on Christmas Day. No, It won't cost points for you. On friday, the Beta is released. In March, the full version will be released. It will be free if you download it before June, if you don't have it downloaded then, you will have to buy it. And Hey, Gunstar Heroes and Solomons Key are epic. |
