Okay. Here's my question: I use PowerDVD to watch DVD's on both my computers, and I have both of them set up to Autoplay on PowerDVD when I insert a disk. However, some DVD's come with software that wants to automatically install whenever I put a DVD in the drive. I just click "Cancel" on the install, but it's still annoying: I want DVD's to play in PowerDVD. Is there any way I can convince Windows to ignore that installation program and just play the DVD in PowerDVD automatically?

Here's a dumb idea that usually works to stop autoplay from running on a DVD (if you're using Windows XP): Try holding the shift key when you insert a DVD.

The problem is, I want Autoplay to work. I just want Autoplay to play the freaking DVD, like I have it set up to do in the settings.

Well, I'm stumped. This looks like a question for JonesBones.
