Ok, before anyone asks, I am using the most recent version of Firefox.

3 things are going wrong with my browser.

1. My mouse wheel. I can use it to scroll up and down, but I can't click it and then move my mouse. I see the little Image but moving my mouse up and down doesn't do anything.

2. Tabs. I can have more than one tab, but I can't switch between them. I have to x out the one I'm on in order to get to the next.

3. URL. My url is always the most recent URL I entered. Like I added a tab to host that Image image, and then I had to x out that tab, but now my Url is photobucket even though I'm on this. And if I added a tab, went on google, and came back to this, the url of this would be google.

Oh, and my loading bar is permanently at full, but won't go away, even though it says, "Done."

Any suggestions?

Things to try:

1. Disable any plugins you have for Firefox, go to the default theme, etc.
2. Restart your computer if that doesn't work.
3. If all else fails, reinstall Firefox.
4. If that doesn't work, you're SOL, sorry man.

Serious thread is one of the hardest technical problems to fix. I suggest degaussing your monitor.

As some others have said, reinstall Firefox, check for viruses/spyware/whatever, and/or clear your cache and [s]chocolate chip[/s] cookies. However, the tabs issue (where it doesn't switch, and sometimes keeps the latest url) happens with me. In my case, it's just that the web page I'm on has a lot of Flash- or Java- based content on it. I can't think of anything else to help your problem, though.

These are the best suggestions you could follow. Especially the plugins. My Beagle (Linux search thing) plugin was causing those tab problems.

I found out that I actually didn't have the most recent firefox, so I just installed that and restarted my computer. It's fine now.

I've had that tabbing issue before. Usually if I just restarted Firefox all together or rebooted the problem would be gone.
