Okay, I just got Super Mario Galaxy for Christmas, and I was pressing the eject button, and, nothing happened! I tried inserting the game, but there was already another game in there! This is a problem because There's currently a Christmas Party going on at my house and there are people needing a play. HELP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EDIT: Okay, I think there's something wrong with the eject button, because the button won't click when you press it!

Edit by LJ: Please don't write titles in all uppercase.

When you're dealing with the Wii having problems, hit either the Wii, the remote, the nunchuck, etc. Seriously. That works 85% of the time.

There's a problem with the button, and whamming your wii dosn't work if there's a software, firmware, or "the freakin' button won't react when you press it" problem.

Actually, hit your mom instead of the Wii. That should fix it.

1) Chill out.

...

Okay.

2)
When did you get your Wii? If it is still under warranty (1 year after purchase or 1 year and 3 months if you registered the Wii), then you should really call up Nintendo's customer service. The customer service for them is top-notch, and there's a 99.9% chance that everything will turn out fine.

3) If not, still call up Nintendo's customer service. You'll have to give up your Wii for several weeks for repairs either way, but with no manufacturing warranty, you'll have to pay.

Oh, and make sure that you linked your Virtual Console data to your My Nintendo account before giving up your Wii, or make sure to provide them with information about what you have paid for through the Wii Shop Channel; you will lose your purchased games otherwise.

4) Don't attempt to take apart your Wii in attempts to fix this. Please.

Okay, I just sent it in last friday, (why I waited 3 days to post this, I do not know). Though I just remembered that I didn't link my VC account with my MN account. I just told them that I had VC data. Will I still loose my games? I shouldn't, seeing as though they're just fixing the button.

I doubt it; you shouldn't have to worry unless you're getting a replacement. If there are any issues with the save data though, be sure to call them.

Okay, I just got my Wii back. Hooray! Or, that's what you think I would
be saying. I saw they got my game out, but they neglected to fix the
actuall problem. The eject button is still broken. It still does not make
the clicking sound. And even with my game out, I still can't any game in.
It's like there's something blocking the thing that accepts the disk.
Did nintendo just scam me out of $87? They call themselves tech support?

It may have been a misunderstanding; call them back up again. Tell them any issues that have yet to be resolved, along with any information they asked from you before.

Okay. Just did that. They said they would upgrade the shipping
to first class for free and that it would get there in 2 days at the most.
They also said that they were actually going to test it after the fix it.

Groan, I got it back again, an they STILL neglected to tfix the problem.
They said that they replaced the disck drive mechanism.
The discks still won't go in. I'm sending it back again.
Hopefully, they'll fix the mechanism that sucks the disck in.

Good job. I'm not sure why Nintendo couldn't fix such a minor issue like that; normally they're quite good at that sort of thing. Ah well.
