I was wondering if it's possible to download videos off Youtube or Homestar Runner.com, because I want to redo the audio on the H*R character pages. (To see how closely I can match it) Anyway, if I can't, I guess I'll just have to take a screenshot of every single frame, put them together, THEN do the audio. Thanks in advance!

It is possible to download the SWF files for the Homestar Runner videos by right clicking on any Wiki link that says "view the Flash file for <toon>" and clicking "Save Target As" from the available options (the option may also be called something like "Save Link As").

You can then view the Homestar Runner files from the comfort of your desktop.

http://youconvertit.com/ should work. You can download videos from YouTube and then convert them into whatever format is most convenient. I haven't tried it myself, but I've heard it works.

OK, thanks. I now have Homestar Runner's character video saved on my desktop. I have to make it work with my movie editor, but it's there!

L'il late, but there's also an FLV player. No need for crappy RealPlayer or conversion.
