Hey, I've been having more problems with my desktop. It won't turn on at all. Oh, and yes, it is plugged in, it's not the cords or the surge protector. Apparently, according to my computer guy, it's the power supply thing in the computer that crapped out. It worked fine just last night. Does this sound right to any of you techie guys? Also, will it run expensive?

Sometimes the power cord for my lappy craps out for like a day and then it's fine so I dunno. Maybe just try it again in a couple of hours.

If that doesn't work, you can buy a new 300 watt power supply for like $125.

If it will fit your case, you can swap it out yourself if you unplug one wire from the old supply and plug it into the new supply.
There are other ones. You'll have to have one to fit your computer.
Newegg is fantastic for ordering good stuff at low prices. Most of their orders over $50 have free shipping and their customer service is well above par.
