So I just LEGALLY ACQUIRED an album and imported into iTunes. I scroll down to see if it imported right and I see this:

I've tried deleting the files from my library and importing them again but the same thing happened. If anyone knows what it causing this and how I can fix it, that'd be great.

Some things that I could think of trying:
  • Play through the song and see what the seek bar does.
  • Listen to the song all the way through to see if it changes anything.
  • Right click each song and select "Get Info" to see what it says.
  • See what each song does in a different media player.

I played the first song in iTunes and it played for it's real length (about 4 minutes) and then went to the next song but it still says 41:31 next to the song.

Maybe he just wants all of his running times to be correct.

Yeah, I did. Nothing worked. Thanks, though.

I've got this same problem with a few songs I've ILLEGALLY ACQUIRED vixy.net?

I dunno how to fix them, but the problem is that when you try to 'seek' through the song, it doesn't skip to any part of the song, it just keeps playing from around where you were just listening to. It also doesn't pause right, when you hit play again it will start from a different spot.

I laughed so hard at that comment.

I've had this problem before. It's called "bloat" & it's very common when you use an online FLV converter to rip mp3s from YouTube videos.

Just select them & reconvert them to mp3 format with itunes.
