There hasn't many Brazilian Portuguese toons subtitled on the website, so i decided to take the english subtitles script and translate them, I would like translating some toons like "Reddest Raddish" And even "In search of the Yello Dello" ! How can i contribute? |

I suggest you actually hit up the wiki for any questions you have. There's also instructions there, I'm sure. |

The quickest way to create foreign subtitles is with this tool: http://tailszefox.no-ip.com/homestar/subtitles.php. I use it all the time whenever I create French subtitles. I'm very surprised that there isn't a mention of it on the Subtitles page. |

I think that using a internet translator is a bad idea because you never know how it will turn out if French or Brazilian people are reading it. Like, there are different grammar "rules" in other languages than english that in some sentences it won't make sense. Maybe that translator does translations fine and maybe not. |

Using an automated translator isn't allowed. You must be a native speaker or have a pretty high degree of competence with the language (a few years of high school Spanish ain't gonna cut it). |

The tool RickTommy mentioned isn't a automated translator; it's a utility to help you keep all the formatting straight. It actually looks really useful, and I don't see any reason not to link to it. I could even see building our own version and hosting it locally. |

how to use that tool? I copy a english subtitle script there and translate it (with my portuguese knowing) and then click submit? |
