Hello there. Try reading the Is this your first time here? page. Then check out the Wiki Getting Started page. These should help give you an overview of how a Wiki works.

As to the page you mentioned, it looks like it just was an old page TBC used. The source is very silmilar to the old games menu found in the museum.

Hmm... that's odd. Do you see the "Edit this document" link on the bottom of the pages?

You also might want to type in complete sentences and use whole words from now on. Especially in the Wiki.

It should be directly above that. What browser are you using?

Each page should have both of those links. Just click on the "Edit This document" and have fun. If you don't see the link, then your browser is having problems and you ought to talk with them (as everyone else here seems to be doing alright).

Hmm... I am not sure what to tell you.

I would try upgrading internet explorer (you could probably start here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/dow ... efault.asp) , or possibly try installing mozilla firefox http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

The real thing you need to realize, by moore's law, technology doubles every 18 months. You are using an operating system that is 10 years old. That means if your computer was top of the line when windows 95 came out (which it probably was) the top of the line computer today has doubled the performance nearly 7 times. (something like 128 times faster).

I am not trying to be too harsh here, but just realize what you are asking.

I would check out upgrades for internet explorer (get it up to at least the 5.0 range) or look into firefox.

Yeah, you're definitely going to need to upgrade Internet Explorer. The wiki is using XHTML Strict 1.0, which mostly looks like garbage in Internet Explorer 4.0.

Sorry.

I wouldn't waste my time upgrading Internet Explorer, for two reasons.
1) This new computer you're getting will more than likely have Windows 98SE or higher on it and at least Internet Explorer 5.5.
2) Internet Explorer is not very secure.

Try getting Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox. The browsers will even import your IE favorites/bookmarks, if you want.

(Sorry if this came off as rude or anything...)

Even so, you should probably download the Internet Explorer upgrade from microsoft.com. If you need to, ask you dad for permission.

Just something worth noting. When you install windows on your computer, make sure the first thing you do is install all of the security updates. With all the viruses and worms (and all the other crap), you need to make sure you get things protected.

You won't need to worry about that. As long as you remember where these pages can be found.

Chat: http://chat.hrwiki.org
Forum: http://forum.hrwiki.org
Wiki: http://www.hrwiki.org

Just remember those (and your username/password), and you shouldn't have any problems.

thanks for the push in the right direction interrupterjones but I have another question. Do you know a website where I can download a picture of strong bad in jail talking into the "eww" can because that's where my namesake first came to be, in one of sb's prank calls.

I would suggest learning to use http://www.google.com. It will help you in this quest, as well as many down the road.

It was over the 100px by 100px limit. By a lot.

Send me a PM when you find another and I'll fix it for you.
