Maybe I'm just being stupid because I just downloaded Trillian, but I've already set up my IRC connection to #hrwiki, and I can't connect. Under my name it says disconnected.

I've tried the Reconnect option but it's not working.

Did you enter the right server address? It's irc.freenode.net.

If you still need help,
Phlip wrote:
- Download, install and run Trillian
- Right-click the trillian icon in the tray, choose Connections->Manage Connections
- Click "Add a new connection", choose "IRC" from the list that appears.
- In the top box type "Freenode", or "HrWiki", or anything else - whatever you want to call the connection.
- In the second box put "irc.freenode.net:6667"
- In the third put your nickname - can only be 16 characters, only letters, numbers and a handful of symbols - notably NO spaces.
- In the fourth box put your "username" - this is relatively useless, just set it to the same as your nick.
- In the fifth put your real name - or don't, if you don't want to, you can put whatever here.
- Tick "Automatically connect on startup" if you want it to automatically connect on startup. If however you don't want it to automatically connect on startup, don't click "Automatically connect on startup". Challenging concepts, I know.
- Click the "Change..." button
- On the connection tab, tick the box "After successful connection, to this IRC server, perform the following commands:"
- In the box below, type "/join #HrWiki"
- Click Save
- Click Connect

I, too, have a problem in Trillian. For some reason, when using the MSN part of it, it won't connect when I click "Reconnect" (There are enough connect tries). It's icon will sometimes light up, but my buddy list for it won't open.

Also, the MSN thing states it's online when I get a "Partially Connected" thing, still. I asked a few others online, and they didn't know. Is there a bug in the system?

EDIT: The only time it'll reconnect is when I shut the program down and start it back up.
