I say the game will get an E10+ rating.

THE BET IS ON!

Finally a non pixel game. And one that doesn't star :trogdor: ! That's an interesting prospect!
I hope to hear more about the game and to play it soon.

I don't consider it unlikely that you couldn't squeeze some more negatives into that sentence...

You Tell-Tale people should put a video ad for the game on the new Nintendo channel. Ether the fully 3d "Game-play for attractive people" one from telltale.com or the email one from homestarrunner.com

Dunno if it has been asked yet, but how many blocks do you think each episode of this game will roughly take up? Nintendo doesn't seem to have any plans to fix their storage issues in the near future, and I'm down to around 100 blocks of space left on my Wii.

I've only got 89!

I don't know the answer to that, but so you know, you should be able to delete VC games and re-download them later without paying again. Or you can copy stuff to an SD card for storage.

Oh, I know that, but Nintendo likes to be difficult about transferring things to and from SD Cards, and deleting and redownloading Virtual Console games is quite a hassle after awhile.

That's obviously not Telltale's fault, though. I'll gladly delete any channel on the Wii for a dosage of Homestar.

Can you buy new blockes?

Author:  DS_Kid [ Sat May 10, 2008 2:26 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: SBCG4AP Strong bad's cool game for attractive people

You can buy SD Cards, which allow you to have more external blocks of memory on your Wii, but no, you cannot buy blocks specifically for the Wii's internal memory. That's kinda impossible with a lot of physical storage options.

Fixed. Seriously, I bought a 1MB card, and after I transferred everything on my Wii (except for Brawl, because you can't), I looked at the amount of blocks on it: 7,496.

EDIT: Oops, I meant a 1GB card. Sorry about that!

I seriously hope you mean 1GB, not 1MB...

For comparison, 'Kipedia says that the Wii has 512MB of internal storage... so buying a 512MB SD card would effectively double the amount of space you have available (though, I'm pretty sure you can only use the stuff that's actually on your Wii directly... if you want to use something on the SD card, you have to copy it back onto the Wii first).
Google tells me that 1 block of memory is 128KB... so a 1GB card would give you an extra 8192 blocks to play with, minus a bit for the filesystem and such.

I can't find this confirmed anywhere in my quick search, but the rumour is that WiiWare games will be capped at a maximum of 40MB... which equates to 320 blocks.

Numbers make everything delicious!

Just as a minor correction, I think that the Wii only has about 256 MB of internal storage dedicated to game saves and channels. The rest is dedicated to firmware, I believe. Plus, there's only about 2,000 available blocks of memory upon first start-up of the Wii.

Everything else is correct, though.

Heh, I just noticed how this screenshot combines both the old and new look of the bushes in The Field. That's quite interesting.

Which includes excluding all Wii users, since Nintendo (and Sony, and I think Microsoft) won't allow Ao-rated games on their system. (The video game version of NC-17)
