There wont be a demo, you'll just have to purchase it! Although, they do need to have something for the Nintendo Channel. A new movie, thing... PLEASE!!! AND A RELEASE DATE!!! THAT TOO!! ... not crazy... at ALL... um...

did anyone notice that in the beginning movie where he wakes up on the couch that the cereal box he picks up from the kitchen counter is the "Hypothetic O's" from Specially Marked?

You Tell-Tale people should put a video ad for the game on the new Nintendo channel. Ether the fully 3d "Game-play for attractive people" one from telltale.com or the email one from homestarrunner.com

You guys they delayed the game to July... :-(

Not to say that was the worst part, the worst was that they were showing all this sweet footage, YET were talking over it!

The version shown was the PC version. The Wii version essentially looks the same, but not as high res. There are limitations on a Wii and on a television that you don't have with a computer and monitor, so obviously there's going to be some video degradation there.

As for the gameplay... knowing that they'd be talking over most of the footage, I asked if we could show a clip at the beginning and allow people to hear the dialogue, but then we ran into technical difficulties. The video feed wasn't working at first and in the end when it finally was working, they talked over the clip. Again, the downside of a live broadcast! But at least they got the feed working in time for you to see *some* of it. :mrgreen:

(And we'll be putting out a new gameplay video next week, so you'll get to hear some of it, too!)

The version shown was the PC version. The Wii version essentially looks the same, but not as high res. There are limitations on a Wii and on a television that you don't have with a computer and monitor, so obviously there's going to be some video degradation there.

I think the PC version will have a demo, like our Sam & Max games do, but that wouldn't be released the same day as the game. We'll let you know about the release date when we can!

Anybody see the interview with SB in the new Nintendo Power? They said may or may not be in it. Actually, they said all 46 NP readers would have to sign NDAs. But that's neither yes or no, hm?

SBCG4AP was on On The Spot (Gamespot.com) They had a producer of the game and he answered some questions. It's right after Street Fighter 2 HD http://www.gamespot.com/shows/on-the-sp ... ot20080605 This video proved to me how much of a Homestar nerd I really am. Two things I noticed is that Brett Tosti forgot Missy Palmer's name and called her Matt Chapman's wife (how could you Matt ). And secondly he forgot who Stinkoman was and confused him with the Poopsmith. Not to say that was the worst part, the worst was that they were showing all this sweet footage, YET were talking over it!

Then I realised that most people probably wouldn't care about the clips, and they had to fit in both the clips and the talking. So I watched that part and turned the sound up so I could hear some of the clip. You're not really missing much if you couldn't hear it. Strong Bad says something like "well look at the invisible time" when he stops talking to Marzipan, claims that one of the Gremlin's uses is for making out in, and describes Strong Badia as the place where the tropical breezes blow. I think he also said that the bush he cut up was sick or something? It was kind of hard to hear. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be able to find out what he said when the game comes out, without killing my eardrums.

The game's looking pretty good, guys. It's neat to see how the whole Homestar world blends together so smoothly. One question, though: is there going to be any graphical difference between the Wii and PC versions of the game? If that was the Wii version shown in the footage, then you can color me impressed.

Oh lol, I didn't expect one of the Telltale people to read my silly rant. Anyway you guys did do a excellent jorb. And I'm just being negative, cause well being negative is more fun (I know how hard it is to be on camera BTW and Totsi was very natural). I did understand a majority of the footage (Strong Bad jumping into Marzipan's cake lol). And I gotta say that Free Country is beautiful, the colors are very vibrant. I'll definitely sink 10 Wii Points with no regret to play SBCG4AP. And lastly I apologize for mishearing, I probably just misheard or mixed up Matt and Mike myself and then claimed that it was you guys who mess up . Keep up the great work, and the best Adventure Games are Sam and Max Season 1 & 2, The Curse of Monkey Island, and Grim Fandango IMO.
